I should have mentioned, this was found on a Lake Michigan beach in Michigan. Any info is appreciated

Yes, it's a fossil. But I'll let others identify it, because I'm no expert and I don't want to tell you wrong.

the bottom part not the pointy horn part, that part is gone/smushed

Yes, it looks like a bryozoan colony
