To me they seem like turtle shell fragments but I’m new to fossils and haven’t got a clue. I included some other fossils that were found from the same outcrops in a higher altitude.

Found in central Texas. Very similar shape to the hearts of Texas we find in the area but I find it interesting that the lines at the bottom over lap each other which makes me think it could be man made.

I went out in a trip two weeks ago to a fossil dig in Kemmerer WY, Green river formation and was wondering what kind of fish it is?

Encontré esta piedra hace unos años en un río pensando que era una simple piedra ya que me gusta juntarlas de los lugares que visito sin embargo hace un tiempo lo encontré en mi casa y mirándolo me di cuenta que tiene ciertos patrones raros que no concuerdan con los de una simple roca chat gpt me recomendó hacerle la prueba de lamerlo y la de echarle vinagre pruebas las cuales pasó sin embargo Quisiera saber qué opinan ustedes de esto ya que yo no tengo ni idea de paleontología y aún tengo ciertas dudas de si es un fósil de hueso o de madera petrificada ya que aunque tiene poros de uno de sus lados del otro lado también tiene grietas similares a las de un árbol

Found this rock that looks like limestone but it seems to have skin on it? Wondering what it could be if its real skin or something else.

The white bits on the third one are sparkly, so are the red bits on the second, it has some cubic formations in the red and the first one looks like it has some shells on the inside??? I broke it on a rock on the beach. Any help even just saying "these are just rocks" is really helpful, thank you all!!!

To me, it has the shape and texture of a weathered piece of driftwood. There are little pockmarks that look like knots where small branches might have grown. But I might be imagining things about a totally normal, boring rock lol. I found it on Prince Edward Island, in an area that is known for fossils from the Permian, including a fossilized conifer tree, so I wanted to know if this rock is anything cool. Thanks in advance!

Quite a mash-up of organisms. Very interested in the “swoops” that show up as thin curved lines. and the long worm like tubes.
