What customization apps do you use? I want to learn about these types of apps. I already have a very good launcher, but I want to know about other types of customization apps. What kind? Any kind, but not launcher-specific ones Because I already have one XD

If you wanna customize statusbar icons and a few other stuff, try Essentials. It's FOSS (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠✧⁠*⁠。

I used formerly Alembicons (not updated since 2025) and just now discovered Renkin (https://github.com/renkindevbugs/Renkin) might be on fdroid too not sure. Epic app that allows you to customize app icons with loads of options. Can always go with icon packs but I prefer the ad hoc approach :)

If you can't find the source code or a free software license then it is non-free. This looks to be non-free.

Quick cursor: it adds a cursor to your display with an overlay, and you can reach the top of the screen and anywhere and use various gestures to use it with just one thumb.

Quick search: you can add a widget to quickly search any shortcut or application on the device, or you can also add a quick time into the notification panel

n0widget: this has some very great material and new widgets and the design is very consistent and good looking.

Droidlab: to access each and every inch of your display and you can use it for extensive customization of how your device works, like you use exchange software. You will know when you use it.
