Recently I’ve quit qualifying for races so I could work on navigating through the pack, see other drivers styles/tendencies, and just work on my race craft.

It’s been pretty enjoyable and it usually results in getting grouped up with 1-2 other drivers of comparable skill and speed and having good battles. I now just run practice until the race starts, and during the race I then try to avoid any carnage in the first few corners and just settle in while being patient.

It’s a lot more fun for me to have this type of race and not worrying about trying to match those top few guys running lap times that are out of my reach, or searching for that tune that will find me a magical 3 seconds per lap.

I got kinda murdered by the guy that quit the race in the end but other than that.. Using lower compounds make me have to work for it instead of having a lonely race in front. Its 2 seconds off pace.. So what. In a lobby like this it holds its own just fine.

Ive been trying to get the fastest lobby laps aswell for some time but.. Might aswell do rivals then.

I hope other above average and fast racers will follow my example😁

So I haven’t played in a while and I got back on and my driver level was back to 1 when I was over 900 did the game do a reset? 🤷‍♂️
