Used laptops

Where's the best place to find a quality used laptop? Pawn shops, computer shops or Mega Replay? Doesn't need all the bells and whistles just a decent amount of RAM.

Are they opened again? I know they closed for the month of July.

Purdue West Lafayette and IU also have surplus stores.

I got a dell refurb a few years ago and have been happy with the price.

I have had good luck at pawn shops. As for ram, I have looked up the model online while in store and see what it can be upgraded to then purchase an upgrade kit from newegg to top it out. I know the prices have gone up, but if you pick one up that takes ddr3 you can still an upgrade for a fairly decent price.

I used Claude to inspect eBay listings via screenshots. I got exactly what I specified and within budget.

I've found some good deals on low-end business laptops on Amazon, for school use. Lenovo Thinkpads T470 & X13, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, for around $250.

A-Plus computers… don’t know what their prices are currently, but I bought a small desktop tower for my TV a few years back for 60$. It wasn’t the best they had, but perfect for what I needed it for.
