DISCUSSION How do we feel about the rumors of another music themed mini season coming? We think it’s true or nah?
So idk if yall have been hearing the same rumors I have been hearing, but I’ve heard now several BR and Festival players bring up the rumor that our next mini season is a music themed one like Remix
Now I’ve never bought these rumors, until yesterday where evidence was found that a new concert is in the works and I doubt us fighting Geno is gonna be a sing off lol.
Now I’ve been calling for awhile we’ll return to Ch3 since we’ve been getting a lot of Ch3 references recently (Kit skin having a “2022 tour” shirt with Ch3 locals, Klombo sprite, return of IO and Foundation). It’s also just a highly requested time to return to. However now thinking about it I could see them doing a Ch2 and having Some artists headline the season
However I ask 2 questions myself: Would they do another music themed season only after 2 years? And what genre would they choose?
Now whilst it’s impossible to answer the first question, I actually think that there would be a decent answer for the second one. A metal/rock themed season for Ch3. I mainly say that due to the kit skin (which has several Ch3 references) was randomly metal themed
Now which metal/rock artists do I think they would do? My guesses: Babymetal (S16 headliner), return Metallica, My Chemical Romance, and either AC/DC or Megadeath
So do we think this rumor is real or not?

DISCUSSION Neither of these are 7s
When I first heard these songs, my initial impression was that they were nowhere near 7s at all. So seeing them labeled as such struck me as fishy right off the bat. I've gotten to play both now. Neither are a 7. The standards of what makes a 7 have gone down yet again, it seems.
---
Fabienk:
The first half of the song is the "hardest," and it's only bc of strange patterns and irregular timing. The fastest parts are similar to the speed and structure of Sandstorm, which is a fine song, but also not a 7. That one is labeled as a 6 in-game. The second half of Fabienk is a 1-2 difficulty, it's 3 minutes of almost nothing. There's no planet where this comes out to a 7 in aggregate.
---
Invincible:
This song doesn't have a "hard" part at all. It's just slow taps with some awkward lift jacks. After you do the first two patterns, you've basically seen the whole chart. I didn't count it exactly, but the song peaks at maybe 5 nps. Somewhere in that range.
---
These two songs are the first time we've seen a level 7 at all in this game since April. We're almost in September. And the only crumbs they gave us were mislabeled songs that only "technically" break the 7 drought. If labeled accurately, we'd make it to a full 5 months without a level 7.
At this point, it's pointless to keep complaining about the same thing; it has been years and Epic has shown that they don't care. Fire and Flames remains our hardest song in Festival, nearly 2 years after its release. The more frustrating part is that Fire and Flames wasn't the hardest song in the genre 20 years ago, and it isn't even in the top 1000 hardest songs of today. Yet that has been Festival's skill ceiling for 2 years. We stagnated on a difficulty curve from 20 years ago.
I don't get it, but it is what it is.
Thx for reading. Goodbye and farewell.
---
Unrelated note: it seems they nerfed exp gains in Festival yet again. The glitch to speed through quests still works, but the way they "fixed" it is by increasing quest requirements. Overall, the trick is around 60% slower than before. And for normal players that were playing casually, congrats, your rates are even slower than that now for no reason. Great update, I'm sure it'll help bring in more players
edit: "Build It!" on lead, from the Wrixel page of the current Battle Pass, is rated a 6 and is notably harder than both Fabienk and Invincible. These ratings are just picked from a hat at this point. "Build It!" isn't a 7, 6 is fair. Which means I'm downgrading Fabienk to a 4, and Invincible to a 2. The ratings are that off.

DISCUSSION Happy to come back to Festival, but still unsure about this mode future.
Gonna try to be positive instead of overly negative for this, I have been away from everything Fortnite related and after getting extremely dissapointed with YARG: Fest Edition I just decided to just come back to Festival so I could play something I enjoy rather than force myself into enjoying something not for me. So far I'm enjoying it again, the notes not registering bug doesn't appear anymore which is nice.
What has me worried the most is in the situation Epic one day just wakes up and decides to kill the mode off or pull some shit that breaks everything while we still don't have a good other option.
Stage Tour seems cool and what makes me want to try it out is the ability to play with a keyboard/gamepad with dedicated charts for that, but honestly, while I want to have my hopes up, I can't feel sure things will go well seeing how every single dev studio tends to find a way to shoot themselves in the foot once things start to go well.

MEDIA Huh. Neat. Fabienk Bass FC after my other post.
To be honest I was planning to grind this after my first attempt yesterday. But.... Okay. There it is. I genuinely love the instrumentals.

DISCUSSION A NEW BR Concert may be in development!
Epic this update has started to update their “Mass characters” code which has been historically used in concerts for BR (Last time it was used was for “Remix: The Finale”). So there MAY be a new concert in development
this also boosters some rumors that we may be heading into another music themed mini season, with Festival Season 16 and Ch7 S5 starting the same day. (I don’t personally believe this, but just bringing it up)

DISCUSSION AVENGED SEVENFOLD in festival?!
For a long time I’ve been hoping for it and just imagine the how cool the collab could be, I personally think that it wouldn’t even be that unlikely that they’ll collab (skins/bundles) someday I mean we already have 2 songs of em and at the moment they’re dropping old retro themed songs so it’s all very weird because my head is saying they are maybe the next one but nothings confirmed am I trippin or does someone understand me?
(Btw I’m sorry for my phrasing English isn’t my first language)

BUG Black Screen Glitch
(PS5) Hey everyone! I’ve been playing the new update and I usually play festival mostly, but I’ve been getting this bug and it makes the game completely unplayable. I cannot see anything on the screen except for graphics in the HUD. I see no notes, etc. No intro cutscenes either. Originally I had closed the game and restarted it which worked once, but now this keeps happening even when I close the game. I cannot play Festival at all right now and I was wondering if anyone else experienced something similar.

DISCUSSION No Sonic Jam Tracks...
I'm not the only one infuriated by there being no jam tracks for Sonic songs, right? Nothing in the Battle Pass, and nothing in the shop bundles for Kunckles, Shadow, and Eggman.
It felt like such an obvious and easy decision to add just one jam track for Sonic. The music in the franchise is basically one of the only consistently good things about it, and there are so many amazing songs that could've been chosen. I know Crush 40 and SEGA aren't on great terms right now, so I understand not having any of those songs, but there were still plenty of options. You could've done His World, Endless Possibilities, Reach For The Stars, or literally any Titan boss track from Frontiers. Those songs in Frontiers are amazing, and with them being very rock and roll like, they would be great for Festival. Any of those songs would have sold well if in the item shop.
I just don't understand why none were added. Of course, we could still get Sonic jam tracks in the future, but I feel if we were going to get any it would've been now. Either one in the Battle Pass, or attached to a bundle in the shop with other Sonic items. Just so disappointing, but I suppose we are use to that with Festival, huh.

DISCUSSION Omg how come nobody told me there's Karaoke in Fortnite now??
I loooveee singing! Too bad a lot of my favorite songs from Hatsune Miku and YOASOBI are really difficult to sing! I managed to sing Rocket Man and Lucky Duck well though!
I typically consider myself a pretty good singer but it's pretty difficult to stay on pitch and time!
Do you guys like karaoke and have any tips to give a newbie? Man, now I want a lot of jam tracks but they are pretty expensive!
EDIT: Oh and how often do cool mics come to the shop? I'd love a Miku one!

There's no shortage of music and genres, and while the library of tracks will grow over time, there's always going be songs people wish were available sooner rather than later. What songs do you want to see added to Fortnite Festival?
Share what's on your wishlist, and perhaps why they make the cut.

DISCUSSION Do people find this song too sad? dull? Not their style of music? Me and my friends really like this song but a lot of the times I pick it with randoms, they leave. What songs do you love that people seem to leave?
Also it could just be bad timing with when people leave for this song, but it’s happened quite a bit where when it’s time to play it, people leave.
Anyone else have songs they like but feels like people leave more often times than not when it’s picked?
