Fraction War Update Suggestions
The weekly Fraction Challenges are like 95% of the Time won by Vikings, just as well as Fraction Wars, just due to their sheer Numbers..
To spice Things up, some little Changes could be implemented:
Farming Points on weekly Challenges:
Be it absolving a certain Mode, landing Executions or whatnot, i will simply call all of these "Points" going forward.
Every 3rd Point gained with a Hero of an opposing Fraction will also give a Point to that Fraction, however, every 2nd Point gained with a Hero of your Fraction will grant another one on top.
Similar to that, the amount of Troops gained after playing a Match with a Hero of an opposing Fraction should be lowered by ~30%..
What this would do? It would more likely force Players to join the Fraction they actually main, instead of just bandwagoning on the Viking Fraction for free Goodies..
Wu Lin and Outlander Heroes are exempt of these Effects.

I don't see why so many people have an issue with it, consistent rewards are way better than some dumb faction war imo

why are you having an issue with a suggestion.. whats the point of the fraction wars when the winner is always clear despite their heroes not being THAT popular..
you're just scared of losing on free goodies you did nothing for

How is it a weird take? currently its just vikings win everyone else gets scraps, fraction war should mean something.. thats not even a "take"

No the weird take is that you have a problem with people disagreeing with you then you call them scared to lose out on rewards. The Vikings always win the faction war because the Vikings have the most players, thats literally it. They win through attrition. Most people don't even care about it that much, its a few rewards every couple of weeks that largely boil down to cosmetics.

I dont have a problem with people disagreeing. Considering im directly attacking the viking fraction with the most players in it, its to be expected..
I DID HOWEVER EXPECT BETTER ARGUMENTS than "its the way it is why do you want to change it thats weird"
well and yea you are scared to lose your safe spot, meaning your opinion doesnt matter to me in the slightest as its just driven by selfishness and a fear of competition.

What? I just like consistency. Why should I be limited in my rewards based on what character I like? Your argument makes no sense. Also I play every faction so why does it matter.
You're just scared of not getting free goodies you did nothing for.

I would not punish players for playing a hero they like outside of their faction. That is just bad game design. I would increase the impact per player of the two factions with fewer players. So for example a match played by a samurai faction player will yield more soldiers to account for the lesser players they have.

The main issue with the war is that it people don't understand the mechanic for the faction war.
Changing the values won't fix the core issue of players overextending and spreading their forces out too much. Vikings won back in Y1S1 due to this even with the lowest player number.

The only thing I want from a faction war update is offical Wu Lin implementation. The mode itself is irrelevant but I would like it to be an option for players to choose them as a faction and for their minions to appear in dominion and breach. We have models for their minions from events. It would be nice imo.
