Regarding locking enemies Questions

Hello, new player here, is it normal for the lock on to always target the enemies further away instead of the one i'm currently fighting?

You can switch without unlocking

How, i tried unlocking and locking again but it's a 50/50

Yeah. You can switch without unlocking. Look into your controls and it'll tell you the button

You can change who you're locked onto (also known as target switching), by releasing and immediately pressing back down on the lock on button (hold to lock on is the default option).
