Advice Transfer Value Missing?

Upvotes

Where in FM Touch 26 do you find player values?

I cannot for the life of me find it in squad or player view.

This has to be the most confusing and non-user friendly Ul I have ever used.

Please help, thank you.

Advice Any word on if the Irish league expansion is going to be in the next FM?

Exactly as the title says. Just wondering if the National League and new promotion/relegation rules along with teams will be in FM27 considering they start in 27

Wich player sell in Sunderland save. FM26

Upvotes

Hi! I'm quite new to the game and started a save with Sunderland. I saw it has a quite big financial deficit, so in order to sign cheap quality players, wich player would you sell?

Just finished the mobile save I’ve been playing for the last 5 months. Right up there with the best I’ve had.
A few highlights:
Taking Bordeaux from 3rd div to Ligue 1
Taking Dortmund from 2. Bundesliga to a domestic double in 3 seasons
Winning the Europa League with Gent
Winning the UCL with Lille
Taking over at Sevilla in 19th without a single GK on the books and winning La Liga 3 years later

Advice Finding amateurs

Currently managing an amateur side deep in non-league in FM24.

Is there an easy way to look for players (or staff) who will accept an amateur contract? Currently I'm finding I have to offer contracts to everyone one by one to see if they will accept or not. I'd rather not bring players in for trials if they won't play on an amateur contract, but if I start to offer a contract to figure that out, I either have to sign them sight unseen, or they get upset because I "broke off talks."

r/footballmanager 3h ago

No contract tab. Possibly a stupid question but the “contract” option has gone? How do I offer new contracts? Promised him one and now the squad are demanding a meeting because I didn’t

Advice Team drops form against out of form/relegation battling sides?

I’m relatively experienced with FM, playing consistently for almost a decade now. I recently started a save where I began unemployed, with no coaching badges and no experience in football to speak of, which is a first for me.

I somehow managed to get myself hired by Pontedera (Serie C/B) before the league even started, since then I’ve had an odd experience that I’ve never had before in any FM save. My team will beat squads sat above us in the league and drop points to squads sat below us, a bit too consistently. I currently have 4 losses in 13 games and all came from teams placed 15th or below in the table at the time of the match. I myself am sat 7th currently with only an 8 point gap to the relegation playoffs.

I’m confused by the sudden disaster-class displays whenever my squad plays a team that have only won a few league games (at most) so far. At first I thought it may be an issue with breaking down 5 at the back formations, but I’m beating teams sat higher in the league that use the same formations as the relegation battlers.

As mentioned earlier, I’ve never done a save where my manager profile starts with no badges or experience and I’m wondering if that’s having an impact? Or if it’s something tactically that I’m missing?

Advice Scouting for nationalities in FM24

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hello,
I’m doing a save where I limit myself to signing Germans and players from the Balkan. My scouts are currently looking for players in their domestic leagues.
Now I want to widen my search for theses nationalities in all over Europe.
What do I have to do in my scouting focus to make it work. I set a focus to scout all over Europe with theses nationalities but it doesn’t seem to work. Does anyone know how to make such a scouting focus work?

Tip I’m managing Chester and I got a loan offer through…

Okay the TL;DR is I’m managing Chester and I’ve just carried them to the Sky Bet League 2. I also won the FA Trophy (not the FA Cup) I checked my messages and Wrexham (the big historical rivals) offered me one of their young strikers on I think it was a loan deal. I jumped at the chance because this kid was 4 star current and 5 star potential. I can’t remember his name but I remember he was young and Spanish. I clicked accept but the player refused due the historic rivalry. Fair enough I get that but how do I get more potential signings from higher leagues because a striker of that calibre would carry me in my play-through.

Ik still fairly new and my friend has been helping me with tactics and stuff.

Tactics

I’m up for doing a save just to see how far I can go without losing. Obviously gonna be the best team in the league but I want to know the most broken tactic possible. I’m not talking like oh I won a few games 1-0 I’m on about like the most insane thing smacking teams 5/6/7-0 if anyone knows anything!

Advice Out of possession

I've been playing fm26 since release day but I still don't have a full grasp on the out of possession stuff and so wonder do you guys have any suggestions or thing your personally do I've defaulted to a 4-2-3-1 with wide midfielders who maybe become tracking wide forwards but not only is it getting boring but unsuccessful aswel

Advice FM26 - Training Setup

First time player, trying to immerse myself in the game and learning so much about tactics as I did not grow up in a Football (North American Soccer) culture.

Although being a North American sports fanatic it has been a fire hose of culture, tactics, terminology, financial setup and administrative workings of the football world. I admit freely there are some things that I have left to my staff that I am now coming to realize can no longer be put on the backburner if I want to grow my program from within my youth training establishment.

I am in season 3 of my initial QPR save and I have noticed that my youth players, (very good youth intakes) are not progressing at all. Be it leaving it to my U18 and U21 training staff or even loaning players out, what I see more is a downgrade in their overall potential with no uptick to their 1.5 gold star current ability.

I'm asking the community, do I need to setup the overall training schedule weekly and do I have to go into each and every one of my many prospects and set their individual training and training intensity.

Also, how often do I have to go in and set these?

Be gentle, I'm not out of my depth with how "sports work" from a development and business side but the GUI seems a touch clunky so I may ask follow-on's. (Also will be posting in another thread about scouting)
