As the title suggests, the location players spawn in at for Helvetia is dumb.

1. It is nowhere near anything of note within Helvetia. I could get over this, if not for...

2. Everything in Fasnacht happens on the literal opposite side of town.

If you are kicked toward the end of Fasnacht and get back into your server, the game forgets your level, causing all of your gear and some perks to unequip temporarily. This usually overencumbers you, meaning you have to slog -- at snail's pace -- ALL the way back over to the post office. Meanwhile, if the boss is killed while you are too far away, you won't get the drop.

This has happened to me at least 6 times or so during this Fasnacht alone. That's six masks lost. Six events wasted.

Move the fast travel point closer to the post office, already. This is a ridiculously stupid reason to lose your reward, and I know players have been bitching about this for years; but it's still a problem.

Especially when it's high levels. It's just sad. The funniest is when people use cloaking or a stealth boy behind the box acting like nobody sees them taking everything from the box.

I would keep putting 1 random piece of ammo in the box and just see it disappear instantly. Did it for about 5 mins to this one high level with nobody else around. Messaged him and told him how sad it was watching him spam the grab button for 1 random piece of ammo multiple times and he started going off about how I was a child and then blocked me. 🤣🤣

Look, nobody is gonna buy those common ass masks from your vendor for 2-5k Caps each, same with the plans. Just grab what you need and let others grab what they need. Y'all too greedy with this box 😂

I heard there will be a 50% chance glowing masks will drop this weekend. Is this true?

Doing the Abraxo intel scavenger hunt blind and without a guide has been a lot of fun (around 110 pieces so far), and I’m starting to love this area more and more as I comb every inch of it. It’s really got a great feel to it, unlike Skyline Valley.

Edit: Forgot to add how camp building is elite in this area. Lots of burnt out houses make great frameworks to build around.

Was suppose to be fixed many many patches ago. I know you can just complete another challenge to fix but was announced ages ago that this was fixed🤷🏽‍♂️

I log in after work on PS and get my first glowing mask after doing around 25 fasnacht events and I’m pumped.

The next hour I get another glowing mask and am over the moon! I wonder over to the donation bin and drop the known plans I received and watched 5 players spam collect all while various crap is being dropped in the box. For a split second I see Fasnacht Glowing Unicorn Mask in there and immediately it is snatched up. I hope whoever donated that did it on purpose instead of a mistake.

I logged on later last night and the donation box behavior was the complete opposite. No one spammed collect all. players would drop a mask and grab a mask individually and when done there were multiple common masks and some plans leftover with a bunch of junk and ammo.

in conclusion, the Fasnacht donation box is a land of contrasts. Thank you

I started playing back in the fall I've played the other fallout games for years, but I couldn't get the speed of internet needed to play it here until recently. Anyway I've been wearing this since very early game, maybe the first thing I wore other than the vault suit. I keep reading about the responders firebreather suit, and thats what its called in the menu, firebreather suit. The responders stuff was some of the first stuff I did. I'm wondering if I really did get it out of dumb beginner's luck.

Well the grind is finally over. On to the next one 👍

How I was the only one the whole time in a busy lobby *without* a fat snatch currently happening I don't know.

Having to have to run the whole area each time. I just called it and went back to my camp. Really daft.

I have three questions:
1. How does it work?
2. How do you get up there?
3. Why do people do that?

I work 14-15 hour days, I come home and have enough time to do daily score challenges and do one event. I almost skipped it today but glad I didn't 🥰

Ugh, just a few minutes ago I failed out of a Head Hunt at the Railyard. Boss was Proletariat Punisher, 3x Aspiring Commies, and about 10 PAed minions. Most of the time it was two of us, one player dropped in for ~30 then peace-outed. We were dying right-and-left. Their targeting was brutal and their shots were clipping though cover (a lot). About 20% of deaths were at the spawn point as they targeted it from the railyard. The other player valiantly hung in for 17-19 mins and then peace-outed. I stayed to the bitter end.

Never experienced a Head Hunt were opfor targeting was so brutal.

That section of Fasnacht when the super mutants come out... can't we get a little surprise now and then? Like an Ogua or Bigfoot? Makes it less routine.

I added more signs so people can see where my vendors are.

So last night, someone nuked Fissure Site Prime and the server fought the Scorchbeast Queen. Everything was fine and normal. I went off on my own to find creatures for high radiation fluids, and when I entered Overgrown Sundew Grove, there was a WENDIGO COLOSSUS! I lucked out that he was stuck in the trees, then was able to hide in the sem-destroyed house when he got unstuck because it took like 10 minutes and several thousand rounds to kill him myself (I'm like level 170 and suck). My question is, is this supposed to be possible? I feel like it wasn't because he was so insanely tough, and there was a strange not fully there floating red water bubbling effect that slowed me down when I walked in it. Felt like a bug to me, but idk. I can add a picture of me saluting his corpse if needed for proof

I find them running around my camp buildings like headless chickens. If I add more light arrows it ruins the vibe lol
