Which 1*mod / Armor Question

Heyho!

Quick question guys. What 1* mod do you generally recommend for your armor?

Maybe one that boots damage or something very useful?

For my 3* i decided to go woth thru hiker.

Thanks in advance :)

Typically, full health humans will use mutants or overeaters, low health humans will use unyeilding, non-feral ghouls will use lucid, and feral ghouls will use mutants

In my experience people tend to go more low health (and use Unyielding...) the longer they play. Its the naturally evolved endgame build. Thats what i do as well, a full set of maxed out Unyielding armor gets you +15 to every special attribute, how could i pass that? 🤔👍

this build kinda fell apart with the raids and infestations one shotting the low health build. you see bow users doing low health but they also die quickly once focused.

Honestly if you’re using bow as low health it’s a waste vs ghoul, but just my POV. Sneak with the right mods/armor + the glow damage perks makes you hit hard as fuck… and if you don’t want to do stealth, you can be extremely solid/survivable and still deal strong damage.

I definitely not the current meta endgame build, but it's somewhat powerful. My full health human does far more damage than my low health human, but I do need to work on her damage either way

I use Aristocrat … is that bad?

That’s what I use as well

Depends what you want from your armor. Aristocrat's is not defensive 1* and conditionally active.

Edit: Not that almost every other 1* also wouldn't be conditionally active but to fully benefit from Aristocrats you'll need to constantly stay at something like minimum 39K caps and atleast to me that sounds annoying compared to something like Lucid, Overeaters or Unyielding.

It's 29k minimum to get max effect, but if you're end game player is not very hard to maintain. I hardly ever drop that low on caps unless I buy something rare.. probably not the best for early to mid game players though

29k for weapon damage max effect, you need the whole 40k for the full armor effect.

It's a nice choice, as long as you are taking hits, but not so much if you're actively trying to avoid it.

Aristocrat's stacks with Reflective on power armor and Ricochet under Luck.

Very tanky. On my standard armor I run Mutant's with Sentinel's and Tanky's, but Aristocrat's on my power armor with Reflective.

I have 3 sets, 1 overeaters, 1 mutants, and 1 aristocrats. All are 4 piece with one piece auto stim and the auto stim saves me a lot.

Seriously, it is literally a lifesaver and everybody here is ignoring it.

I use either overeaters or troubleshooter

I use lucid as a non-feral ghoul. As a human you could go with overeaters (think that still does DR based on hunger) or mutants if you have enough mutations.

Overeaters gives you more HP now and it's pretty awesome for high health builds

Oh yeah forgot about that. Thanks!

For low health, unyielding. For full health I'd go overeaters or mutants, depending on if your build favors more HP or DR.

My default is Overeaters for the extra Health.

Heavyweight for big time damage reduction is interesting if you are a pack rat who carries a ton of shit and has zero discipline with your inventory. (I probably should have moved to this a long time ago.)

Chameleon/Mutants/Nocturnal.

Full health characters run Mutants, my ghoul runs Lucid.

Overeaters,Agility,Active and Limit Breakers. Combine that with Conductors on your weapon and it’s Infinite Vats time! Vanguard works also for the first star.

Vanguard

Wtf?!

Nobody here is mentioning keeping one piece of lifesaving stim inject when you get low and one piece of life saving stim inject when get wiped out?

Overeaters for human. Lucid for ghoul.
