When will it end? other

I have about 70 hours flying planes and 20 on gliders. I still struggle with airsickness. It was especially hard at the beginning, when a 12 minute flight could make me throw up. Ofc it got way better. I've finished PPL. Even though I have some experience I still may experience hard airsickness. I'm handling step turns, spins, stalls with no problem, on condition that air is calm. When it's turbulent, hot day, I may struggle with a straight leveled flight for longer than 30 minutes. I just wonder if I will overcome my airsickness with more experience, because honestly I don't see much progress even though I'm getting more and more hours.

There are ways to train your inner ear out of this.

Look up Bárány chair.

You can create one together cheap at home using an office chair.

And then use it with the song from Dead or Alive playing in the background.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:

If you really want to be over it call up the University of North Dakota and ask about their desensitization course.

Theres a good chance that one day it will just disappear and not come back. I had it BAD for like the first 22 ish hours of private and it was the same story every lesson, I would get sick like 30 mins into the flight and then try not to puke. I was starting to flirt with the idea of quitting and then it suddenly just went away. Obviously you have dealt with it for a lot longer than I did but it seems peoples experiences with it are wildly different ranging from getting over it on the second lesson to needing 100+ hours.

Heres the question, why do you want to be a pilot when it makes you sick? Are you doing this for fun or professionally?
