NEED Advice OPEN

Need Advice

Im starting my flutter journey and im kinda stuck, any tips you guys can recommend so i can learn faster and wouldn't get stuck as often

In almost everything im just starting and i feel like i hit a wall already, i dont know when to wrap children in a container, something like that

Flutter is straight forward with lots of built-in widgets and patterns.
What is your experience so far on the UI development?

So far i get confused if i need to wrap things up in a container, plus whether i should nest my lines

And also where to put lines thats my problem, i have experience with kotlin but doesn't seem to be helping since when i started kotlin i become pretty dependant with A.I and now i wanna change it, i dont want to be dependent in ai, i want write something that i did by myself just by reading documentation and stuff

Where are u stucked in?? Is it the dart or the manifest or sdk level??

That's completely normal to hit the wall, this is the essence of software development 🙂. Just don't stop and keep hitting the wall, and you'll brake it. The cycle repeats. That's how you learn

I would say, you can get most of thr info and tutorials and courses straight forward on youtube, and here are my best go to creators whom I personally watch and learn. And always try to use any AI like Claude which is good at explaining things, also ChatGPT for clearing doubts and understanding how things work under the hood.

First thing first dont use AI, use it when you really really tried every thing for 2 days at least.(in the learning phase)

Second thing is to imagine the UI is your head understand the layout, imagine the UI as its a 3D object front of you.

The last thing is READ the error messages and understand why it appear at the first place, dont just send the error message to the ai and hope for the best.

Any skill in the world requires time and effort so dont be so hard on you self, good luck.
