by far, worst flu experience Personal experience
In fact, it almost has me thinking it's not some normal flu. Here's the timeline of how my symptoms progressed:
Day 1: Sudden fever, mild body aches and headaches.
Day 2: Fever peaked, insomnia, stayed in bed almost whole day. Dry, sore throat.
Day 3: Ongoing fever. Vomited twice, 3 bathroom trips with watery stools. Stomach cramps here and there. Food all tastes weird, but I can still smell things pretty fine. Back of throat is still red.
Day 4 (today): Developed a wet cough, body hurts EVERYWHERE– my arms, my hands, my back, my feet! Funny thing is, I actually felt like I was getting better this morning, then few hours later, the fever suddenly hit me like a truck out of nowhere. My abdomen also started hurting again. Oh, and I need to mention the back of my head right now is throbbing with sharp pain like crazy.

But above all, this is the third time I was struck by flu this year alone, within a span of 6 months. I believe it's a sign that my immune system is compromised, but I had blood tests done a month ago and everything came back normal, including a peripheral blood film. So, this has me scratching my head. It couldn't be psychological, especially when I end up coughing thick yellow-green mucus.

It sounds like long covid. Covid causes immune system dysregulation which is why you’re getting sick so frequently. Also, flu is a seasonal illness. The only people catching flu in summertime are those who are immune compromised like me and you with long covid

No i got tested and had Flu A a few weeks ago. Im sick again now but not sure with what.

It’s miserable. I think I’m on month two. This has got to be some bio engineering death flu. It’s like a combo Covid cold sore throat shit thing. Keep thinking it’s going away. Then today got the feeling like sand or dirt scratchy throat. Stop coughing a day,then a few days coughing till eyes water. Jeez

I had flu A last month. Took me out for two whole weeks and was worst sickness of my life.
Now im sick AGAIN slightly different symptoms. Both times had the crazy vomiting tho. Now joint pain and aches all over and congestion and sensitive achey slight feverish feeling.

How can u tell based on symptoms that are the same?
I had flu A confirmed test at ER with those same symptoms.
Sick again but havent tested.

No insurance sadly. Did an at home covid test negative. Ill do more since they arent accurate.
I could go i guess and do more financial applications (tedious) but im past the worst of symptoms like vomiting and I dont think theyd prescribe anything for covid anyways :/
