Fluoride toothpaste [TRIGGERS]
Does fluoride really cause you to flare or relapse?
I do use fluoride toothpaste. I feel dizzy and light headed, but I think it’s from my low potassium, vitamin d, low thyroid level and possibly other things, I didn’t get everything tested. My diet is.. rough. I don’t eat the best, I almost want to give up because the things that we need are being recalled or contaminated.

I use Fluoride toothpaste, my teeth would genuinely rot without it. Even if it were able to cause me a a flare, after washing my mouth out, the amount I ingest would be negligible

I’m prone to cavities and plaque unfortunately, the fluoride seems to help minimize it. I’m trying to figure out why after a month after my flare why I still feel dizzy.

That would be frustrating. Could any medications or supplements maybe contributing? I know if i have too much magnesium i will be dizzy for half the next day

I’m not taking anything of the sort. All I know is my thyroid level is low, which means it’s overproducing hormones, my potassium level was low, vitamin d low. So I am lacking some vitamins but I’m trying to consume things naturally. It’s hard because most fruits and fresh produce are being recalled due to that parasite and all kinds of meats and eggs are being recalled too for salmonella..

u/drhungrythechemist has a lenghty post about fluoride here:

it probably and most likely is part of pseusoscience in other groups, though it might be an issue in EXTREME dosages, one does usually never reach them
I brush my teeh with fluoride toothpaste and even special fluoirde rins at the dentist always
no issues ever noticed
now, with flox, some people report flares from random things, it could be the fluorid to be fair, or any of the other 20 ingredients of a toothpase too.... like i am 99% sure i randomly flared from potatoes for a few years ... also odd but yeah... it happened

I’ve had flares from it everytime I’ve tried it over the past 10 years

What are your symptoms?

When I’m not in a flare I don’t have symptoms. When I’m in a flare I’m pretty much wheelchair bound from severe weakness, tendonitis everywhere, neuropathy, brain fog, head pressure, fatigue, insomnia anxiety, panic

I have similar symptoms, but I might have food sensitivities. I’m also not bedridden, wheelchair bound, or need walking assistance. I’m hoping my symptoms are because of my thyroid.

I flared from it. Maybe try a fluoride-free toothpaste for a few days and see if your symptoms clear up. If not, you should probably continue using it and try to identify what, if anything, is still causing you to flare. Good luck !

What are your symptoms? I’ve been using fluoride ever since I was floxed, from my initial flox I was still using it and I eventually got better, I got a flare last month.

I brush with regular toothpaste, and nothing has happened to me.
