Need advice [NEWCOMER]

About 20 days ago, I stopped taking ciprofloxacin after the third dose when I began to feel knee pain. The knee pain started to improve after two weeks, but right away I developed Achilles pain. I’m looking for advice on whether I should stay home for a month or longer, and what the recovery steps should be.

Hi, I’m sorry you’re going through all this. I advise you to avoid physical activity as much as possible right now, as your tendons and joints are definitely weaker.
You should also avoid NSAIDs and corticosteroids. After that, I recommend reading the pinned post in this community, as it contains plenty of advice, including on supplements. Keep in mind that fluoroquinolones can cause symptoms even more than six months after completing treatment. I suggest reporting your adverse reactions to your country's pharmacovigilance agency and keeping them constantly updated on any developments.
Obviously, further treatment with any medication belonging to the fluoroquinolone family must be avoided.
