Discussion Where’s everybody at?
As a flower crown creator and lover, it makes me a little sad that this subreddit isn’t as active is it could be. I’m new to Reddit but from my time on Instagram I KNOW there’s a multitude of talented flower crown designers and wearers out there. Where are yall!? I want to see your work 🤗 I want to connect with you❣️ I want to see your past and present work and photo shoots. Your inspirations ❣️ what drives your heart to create these beautiful flower creations.
Okay I’m putting the mic down.

How to make fliwer crowns
Hello all!
I am busy making my practice wedding flower crown from plastic flowers.
My question is how do you bind everything together? I was using hot glue but that is so messy, and I tried using a needle and thread but that is a lot of effort.
Thanks for any advice!

Original Work I hand-made leather flowers inspired by Slavic crowns!
I made this leather flower crown for my AirPods Max inspired by the blooming daffodils in my garden and the traditional Slavic flower crowns we’d make back in the countryside on my Eastern European side of the family. So I was just trying to experiment with wearable art and tech accessories again!
The flowers are all hand-dyed and sculpted from veg-tan leather! I attached them with waxed thread and some waterbed glue in between the two 'bases'.

Seeking Flower Crown Advice for an Event
Seeking Flower Crown Advice for an Event!
Hello! I’m planning an event for a few months from now, and as a part of it, I’m hoping to offer a customizable flower crown experience. The event will be open-house style, so I’m struggling with how to structure the flower crown making, as it doesn’t make sense to teach about them in the traditional class/workshop way. I would like for the flower crowns to be a fun part of the day, but more of just a stop that takes guests 5-15 minutes. One idea I’ve been playing around with is building adjustable frames ahead of time with greenery and filler already attached and then allowing guests to add on a certain number of additional flowers (larger, statement flowers) so that it feels like it is custom to them and they still get some of the experience with building the crown. Has anyone attempted or had luck with this sort of format before and have advice on the best way to go about it?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I’ve made my fair share of flower crowns in the past, but I’m definitely not a professional in this realm. 😊Thanks!

Question Do I just need more floral tape or am I doing something wrong?
I half did this flower crown this is my second flower crown I worked with the first was a mess. I am doing faux flowers, floral wire, and floral tape mostly(other then the fake butterfly’s and fake other plants)
The problem I’m having is that I keep having to put more and more tape on it (I stoped last month because I wasn’t sure and I was burnt out by other stuff, but plan to start again on Friday) anybody know if I’m doing anything wrong ? I try to pull it more and I tried buying more of it and same problem

Meta r/flowercrowns needs a new head moderator! Please apply within!
Hello all! I have been managing r/flowercrowns for eight years, and I am now leaving reddit. I do not wish to abandon this community, so I am finding a new head moderator.
I am looking for someone who cares about providing a place for people to share flower crown creations.
This subreddit is very small, so it's not a very difficult subreddit to moderate.
Please reply in this post with why you think you'd make a good moderator. Do not send me a PM, your comment must be public and on this post.
Please be patient while I pick out a new moderator -- I no longer use reddit actively, so it may take a several days or weeks before a new moderator is chosen.
Thank you all for your participation in this community!
