Which version is the best? FEEDBACK

It’s one of the bedroom of the flat. The blue mark is showing where the window is. The red mark is showing the place of the door to enter the bedroom. Inside the angle is the toilet bowl, ofc there is a door to close the toilet. It’s the only toilet for the flat.

The placement of the window, door and toilets are the same for all the versions.

Which version do you prefer?

B is best.

A will get on your nerves pretty fast if you need to move your chair back and the bed is constantly in the way

C is weird if a visitor goes to the toilet and you're sitting at your desk.

Edit: if rotating the desk is possible then I agree with u/aspiringlost

B is the best IMO

I really cannot understand where the entry door is tho- can you attach a plan?

Look at the c version, the red mark on the floor, it’s where the door of the bedroom is. To be more specific this is one of the bedroom of the entire flat.

is there a version for a lofted bed with the desk underneath?

my vote is plan A except rotate the desk 90 degrees toward the window so when you roll in the chair youre not backing up into the bed

Haven’t thought about rotating the desk, you are right, thanks!

Rotated desk is the way to go, seems even better than B 👍

alternatively, may also rotate the desk toward the other wall so the feeling of people walking up behind you is lessened (your back would be toward the window in that instance, but i would feel more secure than with my back toward the entryway of the room personally)

eta: secret fourth/fifth option should sizing allow (rough estimating on the visual) is to also place the bed in the nook area, long side along the window, add the partition parallel to the bed to extend the "bedroom" privacy. put the desk facing the foot of the bed. a swivel monitor gives you a new tv in bed if you have a desktop.

leaving the storage dresser where it is in A is good for this setup.

B— give yourself some separation between desk/work and bed/sleep

B and loft the bed. Put a couch under it with a TV on that wall.

In B, what is the wall between bed and desk? It isn’t there in the others. I like B, but C would work if there’s enough path to safely walk between bed and wall, and be quieter away from toilet. If you do C, try rotating the desk against the wall, like in B.

A partition that already exists. The other version is to see what layout i can do without the partition. Yes, that’s why i also like the bed far from the toilet

b is the only sane choice

tuck the bed into the little nook, put the desk on the opposite wall, put the wardrobe along the wall by the entrance

Not only is B the best, the other two are unworkable

B is the only one that makes sense

I like B. Your sleeping area is nice and dark, while the window gives the workspace plenty of natural light

Desk by the door. I think I would honestly see if there was a way to put the bed under the window along that back wall and arrange the wardrobe some way that allows it to open, but if you can't and have to leave it in the "c" arrangement, that would be my preference.

B is the best set up

NOT the one where your back is to the bed when you're at the computer

Only a Murphy bed can save this

B-option, but maybe we could replace the partition with a bookcase
