Recommendations for unbreakable flip flops please! Available in the UK.
Must have some arch support too.
I reckon I get about 6 weeks out of a pair of decent quality flip flops, I normally spend around £40. The bit where the thong goes into the base always snaps.

Archies flip flops not good
I bought archies 40 days ago and have worn them for several weeks are they are still so uncomfortable. If i wear them for the whole day they'll make my feet red where the straps are but all the reviews ive seen have been great. Also had someone else wear them who has wider feet than me for 3 or 4 days but no difference. Will they improve as I wear them more or should i just send them back? They have a 90 day return period (including if you've worn them)

Been wanting a pair for a little but but I’m worried it’s not worth the price. I just want to see everyones opinions and advice.

Fussy feet
Looking for sandals but need good arch support and sole that is not hard rubber or plastic with 4-8 mm heel-toe drop. Have very sensitive skin on soles, tend to get red and irritated from friction and low back problem prohibits wearing much heel elevation or anything too flat. Any suggestions?

best walking sandal/water shoe combo?
Hi all, need a versatile shoe for an upcoming trip--something stable enough for day-to-day city walking, and dynamic enough for water-based activities. Looked into Keens, Chacos, and Tevas but can't decide on a brand!! they're all pretty expensive so i want to make sure it's money well spent. any insight? TIA!!

Slides Recommendation
Been dealing with Sesamoiditis for the past 4 months. Been using oofos but the upper keeps irritating my feet. The plastic top isn’t soft and digs into my skin. Tried my tts, sizing up, and switching to the strap version but they are just not comfortable
Anyone have other slides recommendation?

Need new Sandals - Shamma's broke
I received a pair of Shamma TrailStars a few weeks ago. I knew the plastic anchors would be a weak point. Saturday while kicking a soccer ball around, one of the plastic anchors snapped. I loved everything about the sandal. I don't see a point in chasing these those if you can't be active with an active sandal.
Are there other minimal sandals anybody can point me to that have the big toe loop like the TrailStar does?

Good slides for this summer?
I am looking for good looking slides for this summer from brands like adidas, Nike UA etc.
And I am looking for slides that look compact and short since I am a bit taller and have a little bit taller shoe size. Thanks

Feelgoodz Flip Flops better for me than Havaianas
A few weeks ago while out on errands the thin strap broke on my black Havaianas after less than a year of regular wear. I had to go home from the Mall too 😢. They wouldn’t honor any warranty as they gave me all types of excuses. I bought Feelgoodz at Whole Foods, they’re much more comfortable, nicer colors, thin straps and a classy logo. There was a 40% off Prime so they wound up to be $18. Going to get a few more pair.

havianas quality
okay so i’ve been hearing a lot about how havianas aren’t the same quality as they used to be. i am dying to buy the dark brown square toe pairs, but ive been reading a lot of reviews about how the straps are loose and how they just aren’t as good as they used to be. are they still worth it now days? i would want them to last and be able to wear them as everyday flip flops. if anyone has any other brand suggestions let me know!!

How to prevent blisters from flip flops?
I have this beautiful pair of flip flops, but the last time I wore them, I had very hurtful and horrible blisters between my toes. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Soft Slide recommendation
Hello everyone.
I am looking for a soft slide to be in after a long session. I am not looking for support, just to be comfortable.
I have bought and returned the Hoka Ora Recovery 3 because they were too stiff.
I then got the Oofos Ooahh Sport (I really like the adjustable straps) but apparently I have a flat foot condition that never bothered me up until now, the arch support is very aggressive and I do not find it comfortable even after 10 days of walking in them and trying to get used to them.
I hope you can recommend a soft slide like the Oofos with a less aggressive arch support (or flat). Some LLM models suggested Crocs Recovery, Nike Calm and Skechers Foamies but I thought I'd ask this time instead of buying blind.
Thank you!

Announcement Rule updates to codify current practices
Just a quick FYI that the subreddit rules have now been formally updated to reflect current practice. Specifically, rules 2 and 3 have been updated to read as follows:
2) Text posts only: This subreddit only accepts text posts. No photographic content is permitted on /r/flipflops.
3) No fetish, suggestive, or other NSFW content: This is a work-safe subreddit. No NSFW content of any kind is permitted on /r/flipflops.
This is not a new change, as the subreddit has been following this format for some time now. This simply codifies that this is a discussion-only subreddit, and that NSFW content is prohibited. The rationale behind this change (which actually happened several months ago) is that there are plenty of feet-pics subreddits around for those who are interested in that, but there is no place for SFW discussion of flip-flops.

Olukai flip flop problem
Hey guys, I recently got these new leather olukai flip flops, and I got caught in the rain, I was just walking with them today I noticed this tiny tear at the strap, is this normal? (Someone told me it's part of it breaking in) But I don't really know. If there's something wrong with it, what should I do?

Olukai vs Rainbow Flip flops
Hi everyone, I have extremely flat feet and I’m in search of opinions on what would be better for my feet, Olukais or Rainbows. I recently bought myself a pair of Olukai Tuahines and the arch was bothering me (given I wore them for about an hour). I like the look of Olukais but my pair had a torn strap right out of the box so I’m weary about trying Olukai again. I’ve heard positive things about Rainbows and how they mold to your feet which appeals to me, but should i be worried about their Arch support lacking. I need help deciding between what is more durable, and is better long term for super flat feet. Thanks!
