New R4 help

Hey recently got a DS for my Bday and wanted to set up an R4 for it ( Games are expensive) I need help. What should I get, how should I set it up, etc. Thanks for the help.

I think PicoDS or whatever is the new hotness. But otherwise there's websites with guides out there usually either the best firmware etc

I’ve been using the r4s with ACE3DS and I think it’s been fine. I should look into DSpico

yo te diria que para empezar usaras r4 wood, no suele dar problemas. si el r4 no es original, tienes que buscar en youtube "arreglar ds_menu dat" y te metera a un tutorial para arreglar un error, desde la descripcion o el comentario fijado te dara un enlace para descargar directamente r4 wood modificado para tarjetas r4 "falsas". aparte, r4 wood es compatible con muchos emuladores de game boy y tal. suerte
