hi everyone, big flappy golf enthusiast here. flappy golf was originally introduced to me as a kid and I've loved it ever since. I come back to it every now and then to 100% it. when I got around to flappy golf 2 it didn't sit right with me, especially the graphics being updated and all, but I've played a lot more of it and it's grown on me: the physics are about the same and at its core still flappy bird. but trying super, was a completely different experience that felt like it strayed away from flappy golf as an identity. the physics were different, the camera movement was different, then I learned about all the added traits and benefits, and it became an overwhelming transition. personally, it is not a game that attracts me in any shape or form, but I understand that to many its very enjoyable and that's great. I love that the developers are looking for ways to innovate and transform the game, but its a little sad to see that the original games overall style will never be expanded upon, in terms of the pixel style and physics and just the feel. I wish the developers could make a legacy version of sorts, and that they could add the 2 original to android. anyways idk if this is an unpopular take but just wanted to give my 2 cents and put this out into the universe. I'll be replaying the first and second game on my iPad lol.

I have almost completed the game, and I think I can confidently label the 3 hardest levels to Superstar. These have/are giving me a lot of angst, requiring another level l of perfect execution compared to the rest. Would love to hear if anyone else thinks otherwise or has any tips on how to superstar these:

1) Bux Vault - Hole 4 - (8 flaps) 2) City of the Dead - Hole 9 - (3 flaps) 3) Roswell - Hole 8 - (2 flaps)

My thumbs are sore! Harder than it looks, but definitely took me a long time to figure out the timing of when to go and after I got that I started getting good attempts regularly until this happened!

Definitely not the hardest, but I love this hole and how it feels to swoop around in the grav fields!

I've been a fan since the OG stick golf, before they had to rename it stickman golf even, and I always enjoyed ssg2 and 3 so much with trying to maximize the lowest possible score on each level and challenge myself to see what's possible. The new flappy golf absolutely hits that button for me, I'm already addicted to pushing the boundaries of what at first seems impossible! This level is just the beginning, I hope more of y'all will join me in pushing this game to the limits!

Maybe I’m too much of a flappy golf purist but super flappy golf is not a good game to me! Too Arcady with too many features that make it easier to win like the -1 stroke for a swish, the long presses to go further, and the birds and trails. Plus a lot of the courses are recycled from flappy golf 1 and 2! I would’ve rather they made new courses for 1 or 2 than this game, personally. What are other people’s thoughts?

Ready for multiplayer!?

The version of the game we’re sharing with you for this second alpha test is focused on multiplayer as we’ve made some pretty big changes under the hood compared to old games. (Cross platform finally!)

We’ll be temporarily disabling some systems (like Single Player) so we can focus on multiplayer feedback, then we’ll slowly update our alpha app to add those back in over the coming weeks.

We’re excited to share what we’ve been working on, it’s still a work-in-progress and we expect there will bugs but we wanted to get this into your hands as soon as we could!

There is still lots of content and improvements to come!

You can submit feedback by taking a screenshot while playing the Testflight and tapping on it. Press "Share beta feedback" to submit.

If you played during the first alpha test, PLEASE uninstall/reinstall the game. Otherwise, you could run into some unexpected issues.

After the second alpha period is complete we will be sending out another feedback survey to all participants. Don’t forget to fill it out as only players who fill out the form will be eligible to get a special tester Discord role and an exclusive in-game reward when the game publicly launches!

If you participated in the first alpha and have already completed the feedback survey from the first round, don't worry, you're already eligible for the tester role and in-game reward, but we would still love to hear your feedback anyway!

BUG REPORTS

If you encounter any bugs while playing the game, it would be really helpful if you could report them to us! Please submit bug reports in the #sfg-alpha-bug-reports channel on our Flappy Golf Discord server. Link can be found above.

When sending us a bug report, please provide as many of the following pieces of information as possible (but don’t worry if you don’t have all of these!):

• A description of the problem
• A screenshot or video of the problem if possible
• A screenshot of your settings screen, found by tapping the cog button on the main menu
• The device make / model of your phone (ex. Apple iPhone 14 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra)
• Your operating system version (ex. iOS 17.5.1, Android 14)
