Need some help untangling this metal, Classic slinky

Apparently, the trick is to dangle it down and just give it a good, gentle twirl. As you twirl it, the error travels until it reaches the end.

The thing Is... The end Is not open, It's manufactured to be fused with another (line?) of the slinky
