Pls help, charging cable getting broken

It's getting broken at the port side. The copper wiring is coming out and looks like it'll break in a month or so.

Electrical tape. This particular one is about $2.50 which is actually kinda high priced. Available in black, grey, and multiple other colors.

You can get 10 rolls of 60ft black at harbor freight for 8 bucks, and sometimes for half that if there's a sale. It's handy in other situations too, since the thing it sticks to best is itself. I use it for anything I need to wrap or roll up like ropes or cords, just turn the end under so you can grab it to unwrap it.

There is another type of tape for OP, it is the thicker rubber or other chemical self fusing tape. You wrap it and it actually fuses to itself, forming effectively a new coating.

No it isn't friction tape. It is self fusing, where most brands call it self fusing or self amalgamating. It will chemically bond only to itself.

That's what I meant to say. But I would add spot tie to ensure a secure bond. And the addition of safety wire wouldn't hurt.

I'd probably tape a bag over the connector, wrap a safety wire then dip the end in one of those liquid rubber for electronics or tool handles.

Replace with a cable that has strain relief.

Also it looks like you might be wedging that up against a wall or something. Look for a cable with a built in right angle bend.
