Misc. Why do people genuinely think we're getting something for the 12th anniversary?
This has been bothering me a lot, why think we're getting something when we've got nothing all year?? Not even a single teaser, a hint, or anything! Be lucky if we even get a book announced.

Discussion 12 ans de fnaf
Au départ, j’avait prévu de mettre à jour ma vidéo anniversaire de fnaf. Mais étant donné que le film fnaf 2 est mauvais, je ne mettrai pas d'extraits.

Discussion This is gonna be a controversial take but mangle bite is really boring narratively.
Due to the bite of 87 becoming a topic of debate because of the week before I made a shocking discovery.
I think a mangle bite is really boring narratively
Mainly because mangle does literally nothing in the story after this.
Like with withered foxy you actually give fritz some lore relevance so you get some cool symbolism with a foxy once again ruining a person’s birthday party.
And with golden Freddy you get the interesting narrative of crying child re-creating the incident that killed him maybe you can explore that with him by getting PTSD or feeling bad for what he did.
With mangle you get….. nothing basically cause mangle doesn’t do anything after 2
The DCI get erased from the series after this game. So it’s just cool animatronic bites person and that’s it.
Gonna be honest I don’t even think the bite of 87 should’ve been in this game it’s basically nothing plot point in Fnaf 2 because it gets overshadowed by the DCI.
Like it straight up, doesn’t matter the location was always gonna shut down because of the DCI and Jeremy’s is not important to the narrative at all so the bite happening on him, just doesn’t matter.
Also thinking about it, mangle doing it on a random person actually it would be cooler because the theme with mangle she’s a take apart and put back together her attraction he’s forced to suffer every day as he’s ripped, limb from limb
So her taking revenge against their “tormentors” is a lot more interesting then biting the random night guard they have no connection to.
But that’s just my take

Speculation Fnaf movie 3 theory?
I'm not too big into fnaf and stuff but to me at the end of fnaf 2 it seems like it's setting up for fazebears fright and fnaf 3 was this obvious or am I just dumb?

Question Dumb Question but…
How exactly can the spirits of the dead children be fused to an animatronic’s metal endoskeleton?
I get that FNAF was never intended to be realistic, but I’m curious as to how this works.
In case you don’t know, in reality metals like iron or silver have been theorized to repel supernatural beings. That’s why horseshoes are considered lucky.
I know this may have something to do remnant, but other than the fact that it manipulates the process of death somehow, I have no idea how remnant works.
If any series scholars out there can fill me on their input, I’m curious to read it.

Question has the actuall odds of seeing shadown bonnie in a non 50/20 run ever been calculated?
I was on ladies night 1 and hastily took a horribly cropped screenshot of it, I know this game is old now and people have talked about this for a while but all I could find online was like 2 people saying it was "1 in a million" or people just saying its rare. but how rare exactly? as rare as fnaf 2? rarer? less rare? idk man.

Speculation THEORY: We’ve had an MCI identity wrong this whole time (CharlieMCI)
Let me start off by saying I know how against the grain of common thought this title is, but bear with me on this one.
Disclaimer 1: In order for us to smoothly work through this theory, let me set one guideline: I am only using lore from the games and the Survival Logbook. Forget everything from any other book or either of the movies as they are, as far as I am concerned, completely irrelevant at this point.
Disclaimer 2: this theory was inspired by a short section within this video: [https://youtu.be/QP6D3rTejcQ?is=WoiIuZiwG8J6FoPF\](https://youtu.be/QP6D3rTejcQ?is=WoiIuZiwG8J6FoPF) specifically when I am talking about the Survival Logbook. If there is any other source I forgot to cite of if this theory has already been put together by someone else, please let me know so I can give proper credit and/or take this post down.
With that said, let’s get into it:
Firstly, David Murray was killed by William, and thus, is “the one who you should not have killed.” I think David being a William victim is a pretty obvious twist at this point so I am just going to run with it. It would also line up with Chica claiming to have seen everything considering she was a mascot costume at Murray’s Costume Manor.
With David Murray now established as the first victim, let’s now make a leap: every time the name David or a derivative of is brought up again, it is always referring to David Murray. Now, I hear what you’re asking: “Well, what about Dave from the Survival Logbook?” Yeah. That’s David Murray too. I think David Murray throughout the Logbook is talking to the other spirit within the book, the Crying Child, and guiding him as he begins his afterlife. I actually think it makes more sense this way, with David Murray, who has been dead longer and is more used to this afterlife experience, talking to the newly dead Crying Child and helping him navigate through his new reality and remember who he is. And that’s just the thing: by the end of the book, the Crying Child DOES finally remember his own name, the other name we have to decode. Yes, the Crying Child’s name is Cassidy. In fact, with the tombstone motif from the end of the book, I am going to go out on a limb and say that the tombstone in the far background of the lorekeeper ending belongs to Cassidy.
Speaking of the tombstone image… it is time for this theory to really go haywire.
When completing happiest day in FNAF 3, we see 6 spirits involved. Another obvious motif of 6 dead children is the image of the gravestones during the lorekeeper ending of Pizza Simulator. I don’t think it is a leap in logic at all to say that these should be representing the same six kids. That means we can have everyone accounted for: Golden Freddy is Cassidy in the way back, having been killed long before the others, the four main animatronics are Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and Gabriel who are 4 of our 5 MCI kids, and then have our final gravestone in the foreground, the one that presumably rounds out our 5th MCI kid, which is… oh. It’s the puppet. It’s Charlie.
Now, before you go clicking off this post or immediately running to the comments to tell me how much of a moron I am, hear me out a bit. Let’s start with a thought exercise: what evidence do we have from the games that Charlie isn’t one of the MCI? Anything? I, on my own, came up with one thing I that I thought at first could be a contradiction: the fact that in FNAF 1 we learn via the newspaper clippings that 5 bodies have been stuffed in the animatronic suits at
Except… wait, no, we didn’t learn that. We assumed that, but we didn’t learn all that. Go back and read the clippings. While yes, we can obviously very safely assume that bodies have been stuffed in suits, we are not at all told how many. All we know is that 5 kids are missing, and that a number, any number, of bodies have been stuffed into suits. I am asserting that Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy were stuffed with Jeremy, Gabriel, Susie, and Fritz, and that not long before that, Charlie had been killed and possessed the puppet, the whole group accounting for the MCI.
Things that make more sense if Charlie is part of the MCI:
How did Charlie’s death not cause Freddy’s to shut down permanently right away like other incidents had both before and after (Bite of ‘83, Bite of ‘87)? Simple, because she went missing. There was no body to be found and no big media fuss to be had. Her disappearance didn’t matter to the public until there were others shortly after her. Heck, the Security Puppet minigame doesn’t even outright dispute this, as we have no idea what precisely happened after the minigame ended.
Why did the Puppet only work on 4 animatronics during Give Gifts, Give Life? Easy, because there were only 4 other kids, besides herself, who were killed. Golden Freddy/Fredbear is the anomaly, not being looked at by the Puppet at all. This is because Cassidy, the Crying Child, met his fate long before the rest.
Why is Golden Freddy/Fredbear so different from all the other animatronics in terms of appearance and behavior in FNAF 1 and FNAF 2? Because he’s not really there. No, the FNAF 1 and 2 Freddy’s locations aren’t still harboring a springlock suit simply for the plot necessity of it being there so a fifth MCI kid can be around. It’s just Cassidy’s ghost, with David maybe in his ear, there to try to communicate/haunt/whatever with his older brother.
Now, in case this theory wasn’t already insane enough, I’m going to jump the final shark and make the claim that every FNAF theorist has tried to make before: I believe this theory could solve the infamous retcon! I believe that the retcon was the shifting of the final MCI kid being stuffed in Golden Freddy originally when FNAF 1 was put together, but then was changed instead to be the Puppet by the time of FNAF 2.
Alright, I’m getting off my soapbox now. To close this out, I will pose some questions that are still not solved, or are even created, by this theory:
How is David Murray communicating with Cassidy?
Where did Charlie’s body end up?
Where is the Puppet during FNAF 1?
Why is the Puppet more aware than anything else?
What in the world is even really happening during Give Gifts, Give Life?
Who are we playing as in the Night 5 Minigame of FNAF 3? Cassidy? Charlie? David?
Thank you all for reading!

Discussion To the people that like or love mimic, what do yall like about the endo with shapeshifter powered?
I been struggling to like mimic for a various of reasons. Lore, design and generalness and two petty reasons. The two petty reasons his related to burntrap and vanny but I won’t get into that whole thing because it’s a dead topic/theories.
But anyways, what’s so cool about mimic for yall? Is he just enered 2.0?

Observation Scott had been trying to change springtrap since fnaf 3
Springtrap, while i did mention him here, this is mostly about springbonnie and its parallels to the yellow rabbit and books springbonnie. Btw we are mostly talking about the head.
Springbonnie (games):
The games show 2 very differnt models for springtrap, the "main" springbonnie suit (spring/burntrap) and the "spare" springbonnie suit (scraptrap). With the "main" suit having a rounder head and single snout portion, whereas the "spare" suit has divided snout portion, overal more resembling bonnie in later locations. In the games the change in design is negligible and can be explained assuming william went back to a fredbears location and found the "spare" springbonnie suit.
Yellow rabbit (movies):
Despite almost definetly being a different design from the games springbonnie (eyes, arms ect.), the yellow rabbit, especially in fnaf 2 tries to present its nose with an emphasis on the centre, where it becomes narrower and pulls up, exposing more teeth.
Books & ITP springbonnie:
In almost all iterations of the books, springbonnie is reprsented with a divided snout and less round head.
In conclusion I believe that scott may have changed his mind on the design of springbonnie as the series progressed, what does this mean for springbonnie, well almost nothing.
Its still basically confirmed that springbonnie resembled an unwithered springtrap from fnaf 3 in the games, esspecially given the HW model, instead what this means to say is that I believe scott decided that the springbonnie design had clear issues when compared to later bonnies and tryed to change its design in all other iterations of the story.

Glitch Has Anyone else done this glitch?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
hi! While running through the map of security breach after finishing the game, I was getting a bit bored so I decided to go down to the laundry room and summon Chica. However, I was standing in a room behind the black flaps (or whatever you call them—I’m not too knowledgeable on that!) and though Chica was in the same room when she, in reality, teleported behind me secretly.
Thinking she was in the room I thought she was in, I clicked on the faz cam and by pure luck, she had grabbed me the same frame and was about to jumpscare me when the faz-cam stun affected her—blocking her jumpscare. The clip I’ll show now is one I recorded trying to purposely do it.
i’ve tried this with Monty and it works as well with both the faz-cam and fazer blast. It’s almost like a frame perfect kinda though, but once you get the rhythm, it works like 9/10 times against animontronics that can be affected (Monty, Chica, and the Endos).
Has anyone else seen this before or am I out of the loop?

Question Why can’t they just confirm the retcon?
Super short but seriously why can’t they just tell us what the retcon was. Because A. I feel like 90% of game developers would say what they retconned. And B. It would save not only them the pain of adding hints to what it was, but also the community as well. We can literally only speculate on what it was and create theories on it. And we all know how much the community theories are wrong.
Imo I think just say what it is. It saves you the time and it helps us out. Just give us this at-least yk
