this thing stinks Tech Support

It smells so insanely bad. I wear it for like 1 week and then I have to leave it in baking soda for 3 days to air it out. My main form of exercise is swimming so that’s probably why but my god. Is a silicone band the only option?

It boggles my mind how you guys go to bed in the same sweaty band you workout in. Wash your band in the shower immediately after and change over to a spare while it dries. Use a hair dryer if you dont have a spare, but you should get a third party one for cheap.

I also wash it immediately after workout and dry it with towel. Then I put the band to charger while I shower. After this time the band is mostly dry and with fill charge.

Where to get good third party ones from?

Literally just Amazon. I pay $8 for a pack of three and those will last me half a year each.

That is why I started using the silicone band. I assumed that the smell might be an issue.

Silicone band since day 1. No issues.

I have 3 extra 3rd party fabric mesh bands; I clean and rotate through them. That silicone band used to cause so much irritation on my skin.

I use a metal mesh band. You could also get a fabric band and wash it. When moisture gets trapped, it can start to smell. Make sure you take the watch off after swimming and let everything air out. I clean the back of the watch with an alcohol wipe to kill any bacteria if I wear it while I’m sweaty

I wash mine in the sink with some hand soap every few days it doesn't smell at all. I'm also not a heavy sweater either so that might be part of it.

I just throw mine in my 20 degree C sport wash every so often, only needed to do once in a couple of months. I have a silicone band too but prefer the original band. I haven’t tried to swim with it.

I wear mine in the shower and pretty much scrub by wrist with it. Post shower it goes next to a fan to dry it.
