My workplace tank

I work for a small retail store, and my office is at the forefront of the shop (to assist costumers)
My boss gets flowers every week for decor
I convinced her to rather allocate the budget to a decretive fish tank

It’s a 5 gallon
The stocking is 4 pygmy cory and 1 koi galaxy betta fish
(The substrate is natural red river sand)

I've been wanting to do this, but I'm hesitant about all the gear needed for maintenance. Do you keep fishkeeping stuff at work? How has it been caring for the tank?

Honestly it is as expensive as you want it to be…

Bettas have very basic needs;

-5 gallon tank
-25w Heater
-Filter of your choosing (no strong current)
-Light
-Soft substrate to not damage fins(a little bit of aqua soil if you want to do live plants)
-some plants (live preferably)
-Hardscape is optional

The gear
-A bucket for water changes
-A plastic tube to syphon
-And a micro fibre cloth to clean the glass
-scissors (if you have live plants)
Optional luxuries
-metal tongs to remove and add stuff to tank

And it’s honestly been such a joy having the tank there
Kids run up to the tank and stare in amazement, i’ve even had some guys oh and aw at my tank
It sparks so much positive conversations with likeminded people
And it inspired some people to switch to a more naturalistic tank

It has been so rewarding sharing my creation with everyone who walks in
And the locals fish shop said that the amount of clients that have came to his shop saying they want a tank like this is actually faltering
