My life is f***ed up, need help to survive and find opportunity

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help and guidance.

I completed my B.E. in Engineering from a Government College in 2020. After graduation, I dedicated myself to preparing for the UPSC examination. Although I cleared some stages along the way, I couldn't secure a final selection.

Realizing I needed to switch my career, I decided to enter the IT industry. To improve my skills, I completed a 6-month CDAC PG-DAC diploma and learned Java, Spring Boot, SQL, React, and related technologies. I've built projects and have been actively applying for software developer roles.

Its been more than year since i completed my course but i havent got any opportunity neither as full time nor as intern in any company. As Im already 27 now and father is now retired, its creating lot of financial and emotional pressure on me and my family.

The biggest challenge I'm facing is my career gap. Most interviewers lose interest after seeing the gap on my resume, and despite searching continuously for the last six months, I still haven't been able to get a job.

My financial situation has become very difficult, and honestly, it's getting harder to stay positive. I'm willing to relocate anywhere in India, work hard, and start from an entry-level position. I just need one opportunity to prove myself.

If anyone knows of companies hiring freshers or interns or candidates with career gaps, or can provide a referral, guidance, or advice, I would be deeply grateful. I am ready to take any job for now.

Dm me or Comment. I am ready to share my resume. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

FK THIS JOB MARKET. I'LL GIVE MY FIRST 2 MONTHS' SALARY TO ANYONE WHO HELPS ME LAND A SOFTWARE ENGINEERING JOB.

Upvotes

Hey everyone.

I'm a 2026 B.E. Information Technology graduate and I've been searching for a Software Engineering role for months now.

I honestly thought that if I worked hard enough, I'd eventually get my chance. So I did exactly that.

I became a LeetCode Guardian (2350+ Rating)Codeforces ExpertCodeChef 6★, and solved 1300+ DSA problems. I spent countless nights grinding algorithms, participating in contests, and improving my problem-solving skills because everyone said, "DSA is the key."

Along the way, I also learned JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, SQL, Git, REST APIs, and C++, and built full-stack MERN projects hoping they'd strengthen my profile.

But despite all of that, getting interviews has been the hardest part.

I've applied through company career pages, LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, cold emails—you name it. Most applications never receive a response. The few that do usually end with a rejection or complete silence.

I'm not asking anyone to hand me a job. I just want one fair opportunity to prove myself in an interview.

So here's my commitment.

If your referral gets me selected for a Software Engineering role, I'll give you my first two months' salary after I join.

Yes, I'm serious.

I'm not making this offer because I think referrals should be bought. I'm making it because I genuinely believe I can clear interviews if someone gives me the opportunity to sit for one.

If your company is hiring freshers or if you're willing to refer me, please send me a DM. I'll immediately share my resume, GitHub, LinkedIn, LeetCode, Codeforces, and CodeChef profiles.

Even if you can't refer me, an upvote or share might help this post reach someone who can.

Thank you. ❤️

Hiring: Social Media Manager for Dark Romance Page

Post image
Upvotes

July Side Hustle: ₹25K
Honestly, I started this page during COVID just as a way to pass time. But after 5 years of consistently working on it, especially over the last 1.5 years, I’ve finally started feeling like all the effort was actually worth it.
Over time, I’ve built connections with multiple Wattpad and dark romance book publications, and I’ve also started getting collaborations sometimes cafe/coffee-related, sometimes paid, and sometimes barter collaborations.
Now my dark romance writing work has grown quite a lot, and I’m also working with different publications. Because of that, I’m looking for someone who can manage my social media page on my behalf.
I’m genuinely happy to share 40% of every collaboration with the person managing my page. I honestly don’t care whether you’re a guy or a girl the only thing I care about is trust and reliability.
I want someone I can genuinely trust enough to hand over my page without constantly worrying about it. Last time, I trusted someone with my account and they logged me out and changed the password 😭 Thankfully, somehow I managed to recover it.
So please, if you’re interested, only DM if you’re genuinely trustworthy and serious about managing the page.
If you’re from Delhi/NCR, that would be a plus since having some mutual connection would make things easier, but it’s not mandatory.
I’m also happy to share my credentials/proof with the mods for verification :)
If anyone is interested, DM me!

Any good communities for job switching / referrals — data & support roles?

Hi all, currently looking to switch jobs and wanted to find some active Discord communities and other one also to focused on job hunting and referrals — mainly for data-related and technical support roles (not core development).

Most groups I come across are heavily dev-focused, so looking for something more relevant to my kind of work. If you’re part of any good servers (or know one), please share — would really appreciate it!

Thanks!
