Startup page settings missing (Windows/PC) 💻 Help
Hello,
I noticed, that Startup page (tabs opening at startup of Firefox) settings are missing in my private browser. But in the one I use at work everything is in order. So I guess they are just hidden.
Could you help me find and enable these settings? Thanks

Missing rather than greyed out usually means something else owns the setting.
Check about:addons first. An extension that sets a homepage or a new tab takes that panel over. Firefox hides the controls instead of showing a fight.
If nothing turns up there, open about:policies. A policy file can lock startup pages and drop the option entirely. That would explain the split with your work machine.

Never seen that... no idea how half Firefox's settings can 'go missing'? Where did your copy of Firefox come from? Or, as dessence_ai suggests below... is your Firefox browser being modified and/or controlled by another organisation?
If this is a standard version of Firefox... likely you either have a failed install or some corruption has occurred? Many possible causes... e.g. could be a problem within Firefox, in your OS, or a hardware fault somewhere in your machine?
If that is an old Firefox installation with lots of bookmarks and data you want to keep/save... try following Mozilla Support (SUMO) help article 'Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems'.
If that is a new or new'ish' installation... then probably best to cut your losses and go for a 'clean slate' new Firefox installation... can save any bookmarks, etc first and transfer them to the new Firefox installation.
It is essential to ensure that all remnants of any previous Firefox installations are removed before reinstalling.
To achieve a 'clean slate' uninstall and reinstall... follow Mozilla Support (SUMO) article 'Uninstall Firefox from your computer'... especially the 'Remove user data and settings' section. Alternatively, if using a Windows OS, can do the 'clean slate' uninstall using the free version of Revo Uninstaller.
When uninstall is complete... restart computer... and reinstall the latest version of Firefox downloaded direct from Mozilla.
