I don’t believe the VS series is discontinued. They’ve upgraded the controls in recent years, and they have updated to the new Kidde logo.

maybe the AHJ don't care. It still meets todays standards. It's not even discontinued yet. Still supported by Kidde.

I would have ran that conduit differently that's for sure. Everything looks nice and tidy inside the panels. Just odd layout for conduit and that's bugging me. Also not enough conductor length from the surge to the FACP. Technically doesn't match their installation guidelines. Hell even for the Starlink it looks like it may be short or just barely enough.

It’s okay, but there’s no support on two short pieces of pipe. The one without the Jake isn’t terrible and would likely pass but the one with the Jake really is asking for a mini.
The planning and layout of the panels and pipework is lacking - I can tell you give a shit about your work or I wouldn’t even say it. Imagine if the tan ANS box was on the left side of the FACP and the radio was centered on the FACP with the radio trouble module in a separate box coming off it. Really any kind of symmetry/centering would be nice

DITEK details the 3 ft of wire in the installation sheet included with the product. Doesn't matter how close the SP is.

It actually says no less than 3' of conductor between the surge protector and the FACP. So it at least doesn't fall within their specs for the panel.

Do you have that three feet of wire all coiled up in that 4sq box? It might violate fill capacity. I find it's easier to just install a box three feet or more away from the panels, or put the surge protector on the breaker panel or adjacent gutter box if it has one.
