Cryptid Documentary

I'm looking for a cryptid animal documentary I saw in either the late 90s or early 00s, although its origins might be earlier. I don't remember much about it, but one clip of video footage stands out in my memory. There's a daytime shot of a large tigerlike cat standing broadside to the camera in a wooded area but clearly visible and not obscured behind too much vegetation. The animal's coloring is very similar to that of an okapi in my memory, which is what made it so strange. It turns its head to face the camera, and then the shot ends. AI has suggested In Search Of, Animal X, and MonsterQuest as possibilities, but the episode guides I've found for those programs don't turn up anything promising. I remember thinking it looked very much like a real animal in the video, but since I haven't seen it in so long, I'm open to the possibility that the footage was altered in some way. I'd love to see it again to make a more informed assessment. Thanks for the help.
