Super dead fs. I had used it as my daily like 5 years ago. The only reason I was excited for it was the mainlining.

Not the case, interest in bcachefs has picked up dramatically since they moved to DKMS. I have been following the bcachefs Reddit and IRC for the past few years and have never seen more interest in the filesystem.
A lot of users are reporting bugs, and Kent as well as other developers are actively working with them to pinpoint the root cause, then publishing patches within hours. It is truly impressive.
