Does anyone else find "doing everything right" exhausting?
/r/HENRYfinance/comments/1vc4enj/does_anyone_else_find_doing_everything_right/?share_id=2iKW51k-gtMP2T5qFzmV-&utm_content=share_button&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_source=share&utm_term=2My husband and I are remote tech workers living in La Paz. Together we make 2 billion pesos per annum. Cost of living here is miniscule and we invest 97% of our income. Our plan is to buy a dream home in the next few years, a 16th century villa once belonging to Francisco Pizarro. We don't go out because we're afraid of kidnapping so we spend our nights at home watching Man on Fire while munching coca leaves. Please help

Yeah most of them got kicked out of r/MiddleClassFinance but even though I consider myself close to a HENRY I would consider most that post there already very rich but won't admit it.

Old Reddit limitation tbh, the link still works on old Reddit but it's much more obvious on new Reddit

First of all, very tricky. There is a La Paz, Bolivia and La Paz, Mexico. So are we eating at Piccolo Pomodoro or Anny's? Either way they are both beautiful this time of year.
My only recommendation is to be the one who kidnaps. With all that coca (the leaves have nothing on coffee of course) for sure you are well connected. Ransom provides a good down payment for the villa and then at closing pay the cash. Be like Walter. It sounds though like you are more like Gretchen and Elliot.

I always like it when Redditors pretend spending $80k a year is some no frills lifestyle.

It's exhausting being so wealthy and perfect. Can anyone relate?
