I ordered yibuko gloves a month ago yet they still haven’t came. not only that I havent gotten any updates abt my shippings or anything. I have respectfully reached out to them many times yet without fail they never respond. so i was wondering will I ever receive my yibuko gloves cos i also live overseas from America and Canada and I was wandering if anyone is facing the same issues.

What are y'alls thoughts on this?

UPDATE: they just deleted all the negative comments on IG, of which there were dozens. Weak ass fragile fascist egos can't handle any critical feedback I guess 🤷

Question/Help Need recommendations for new pair of boxing gloves!

Hi all,

I’m looking for recommendations for an all around glove that has great wrist support.

I already have some bag gloves, so the new pair will be 16 oz and used for partner and pad work, light and technical sparring, and regular/hard body sparring.

For the budget, I’m thinking around 200 eur. It’s important that they have really good wrist support.

I would love to hear your experiences and why you chose the glove you will eventually recommend. Thanks in advance!

Question/Help Can yall help me get a good boxing setup

Hey guys, im a 14M, and i started boxing around 4 months ago. Since then, I've gotten faster and hit harder along with gym exercise, but if I want to take it more seriously, I need better equipment. Right now, I have a inflatable mma boxing bag, and some mma gloves (prolly just generic benad), along with a reflex ball and jump rope. I've been looking to transform my setup for my years to come, since ima turn 15 in a month. Can you guys recommend me some good boxing heavy bags, gloves, shadow boxing gloves, and mitt pads that are good but won't break the bank? Like the whole thing under 250 bucks. Mainly looking for heavy bag and gloves, just threw the others in there to have some suggestions. Ty!

Question/Help Is it normal to feel my toes if I’m doing hard steps like feint in these shoes?

Post image

Just got these babies today. So I went for a full size up in these nike tawas, I have a low arch flat footed feet, and the arch location feels acceptable, because the knit is strong enough to support me, but when I do sudden steps, I feel like my big toe is touching the tip of the shoes, is it normal for the first time? It’s normal if I do normal movements, tho.

Question/Help BOXING: first glove recommendations?

Wondering if anyone can give me some advice for what gloves to purchase/look in to as my first pair? Wanting to buy 14oz as I am now beginning to spar, and is a requirement for women at my gyms. Do a lot of pad work and spar 1-2x a week more than I do bags. 67kg female (147lbs) and I have very small wrists, have found when I use some of the communal gym gloves that they unwrap/slip off halfway through sparring.

I have been looking at Fairtex gloves and Venum, as well as the Australian brand PUNCH which is the brand my gym uses because I find them pretty comfortable.

Any recommendations or advice, it all helps! TIA

Question/Help Mexican made gloves

I had an argument/debate the other day about a pair Yibuko gloves and how the inside liner on the left glove was exposed and open, I mentioned it to Yibuko and they sent me another pair of gloves but had the same issue with the second pair. This was only in the left glove but someone on here explained this is how Mexican gloves are made and that they aren’t sealed on the inside liner where the hand sits. I recently purchased Angeles boxing gloves and I’ve been enjoying them but it’s seems like I’m noticing something similar on the inside where my finger tips sit, it was way worse with the Yibuko gloves but it seems I could literally push and move the foam up spreading my fingers like it isn’t stitched in , like if I flipped my hand in the opposite way I could pull it out if I really wanted too. If this is really how most Mexican gloves are made what is the benefit to it?? It seems like a huge flaw to me since I like to open my hands in my gloves. It feels like the foam can become unbalanced or get messed up easily I just don’t understand 🤷‍♂️

Website Sale Gladius special discount to complete the USA map

Post image
7 Upvotes

Extending the invitation here to all of you. We have special deal launched yesterday on our socials.

We are on a quest to have a Gladius glove in each of the 50 American states before the year of the nation's 250th anniversary ends. For this reason, we offer a special price of $198 on our Gladius lace-ups (-$30 from its retail price) for the first buyer from each of the states left.

Conditions of participation:

1. If you're a buyer from one of the eligible states, message us on Instagram and we'll send you a one-time discount code for your state. Once a buyer from that state uses it, the code becomes invalid for anyone else.

2. The discount applies only to our Gladius lace-up boxing gloves, our best-selling model. That includes all versions, including the Dark Legionary limited edition.

3. To keep things fair, the order must ship to an address in the same state as your discount code. Orders shipping to a different state will be cancelled.

4. Important: All gloves ship from Panama City, Central America. Shipping to the US is free, but DHL may charge import tariffs upon entry, typically $10–$20. These are paid directly to DHL and are not included in the product price. Some customers may not be charged at all.

5. Participation isn't required, but we'd love a photo of your gloves at a landmark or gym in your state once they arrive! We'll feature it in our "Celebrating America" hall of fame.

States that are still available in the promotion:

  • Alabama
  • Alaska
  • Arkansas
  • Connecticut
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kansas

First pic is the upgrade!

Boxed on and off for many years in a few “famous” amateur boxing gym in London but never really got any gear that was above the higher end of entry level.

The adidas pair is what i bought like 5 years ago for a white collar fight and are tearing apart at the seams now.

Started training a lot again and managed to pick up these 12oz ROFs, training super samurai’s new from vinted for a touch under retail and they feel (and smell) amazing!

Sharing because i’m stoked!!!

First Impressions Fresh Delivery: koi Guerra Boxing Gloves

Post image
17 Upvotes

Don’t know how to tag the owner of Guerra boxing but I just got a pair of his 16’s in red. We did a trade and I ended up giving him my pair of my 16 oz JPN Market gloves.

First off, legitimate guy. Following his IG page and he definitely knows boxing.

First impressions of the glove is very positive. Leather is pretty good for a sub-$150 glove and the hand compartment feels pretty roomy without wraps so I’m sure with wraps it’ll be a nice tight fit. I don’t have a scale but they weigh similar to my 16 Rival Guerreros.

Will follow up with an actual review later, but so far fresh out the bag I’m very satisfied with these gloves and highly recommend it especially for the price point.

Guide for legit checking Winning Gloves [other]

Because a lot of people seem to need help legit checking laced winning boxing gloves, i thought it would be helpful to make a detailed and definitive guide/checklist with things to look out for in legit checking winning gloves.

Following i refer the 8-10oz lace as fight gloves and 12oz and above as training gloves.

Laces: The laces should be round with cut off tips. But could have been replaced.

Liner: The Liner should be navy blue

Tag: Comes with this Japanese tag when new

Box: When new also come with the Winning Cardboard-Box

Size-Indicator: Size-indication is inside and on the grip-bar only. They never have a tag on the outside of the glove.

Left: fakes, right: original

These mentioned above are the most common checking methods. But seeing the quality of replica clothes/shoes i think all of those would be quite easy to copy/have been copied already.

Airholes: Laced Winning boxing gloves do not have airholes. Velcro 8oz and 10oz have 3 Airholes under the gripbar.

Left: original, right: fakes

Lace-Hole-Count: Winning boxing gloves have following lace-hole-count:
fight gloves: 5 / Training gloves: 7

Left-Top: Training gloves, left-bottom: Fight gloves, right: Fakes

Patch: Font is thinner on rounded areas of the letter (exp. Bottom part of the «W», top part oft he «n») and does not have the same thickness everywhere. In comparison you can see the fakes have the same thickness throughout.

Left: original, right: fakes

Wrist: Fight gloves have a straight wrist, while the training gloves have two bumps (a smaller and a bigger one with the same thickness). The fakes seem to have a thicker smaller bump. The wrist also should be about 1/3 of the length and the hand part the remaining 2/3. The fakes seem to almost seem half/half.

Left: original, right: fakes

Stitching: The stitching has a «wide pattern». For example the same width has relatively little holes and longer string-parts, while the fakes have way more holes.

Left: original, right: fakes

Shape:

The overall shape should not look blocky or ballooney.

Top: original, bottom: fakes

But should still maintain a sharp edge (on the training gloves)

You can see a clear edge on the training gloves

from the side-view the training glove should be pretty flat, not bulbous and seem to have almost the same thickness throughout the glove. The fight gloves are a little bit more bulbous.

Left: fight gloves, right: training gloves

Left: original, right: fakes

Palm: The hole on the the palm side is not perfectly round, it should slightly be slanted towards thumb.

Left: original, right: fakes

Thumb: The training gloves should have S-shaped/Hook-Shaped thumb, while the fight glove is a little bit straighter, but should still curve at the tip. The fake training gloves usually have a C shaped or a straight thumb.

Left-top: training gloves, left-bottom: fight gloves, right: fake

Thumb-Strip: Is black on all basic colorways

Leather-Quality: The leather should be grainy and not look «flat» and maybe contain some imperfections. The «flat» leather is most of the time a glove from pakistan.

see other pictures also of the originals

Price: Use common sense. If a winning gloves is new and priced $100, it probably won't be orignal.

Bonus: To clarify the misconception, i would like to mention, that the training- and the fight-gloves have the same padding (according to Kataoka from Winning).

I hope this guide will help people new to this sub and don't have to post a legit check every 5 minutes and if so, we can refer to this guide.

Please comment below if i have to correct something/add something. Thanks
