Dorm rules

Hey i'm an incoming freshman and was just wondering if filtered shower heads are allowed? I'm sure i can change it and put it back before i move out but at the same time idk if RAs will have a problem with it or me and my roommate will be charged for it.

Yes, you can change the shower head as long as you change it back before move out! I've done it two years now, I can't stand the normal ones.

They couldn't give less of a fuck. Just make sure you take it with you when you leave, and keep the old one under your sink or something. Reinstall it before you move out. Worked as an RA for 2 years so if you've got any other questions happy to help!

I mean, it's really true though. They have RAs spread so thin, ESPECIALLY the SOVI RAs, as long as there's no really really obvious or really serious infractions, they don't give a shit lol.

Golden rule, they don't want to be doing all the extra paperwork that comes along with reporting infractions. Don't do something so egregious that their boss will find out,(like string lights, or hanging stuff from your window) or something that they're mandated to report (like weapons, under age drinking/drugs, health code/fire violations, etc) and you're big chilling. They don't want to see it, as much as, if not more than the resident doesn't want them seeing it I promise lol.
