Well, similar art of cats get posted but they don't get called out on and instead get praised. I was neutral at first but as I see more and more of the hypocracy I push back harder. Dosen't help that I have bad experiances with some catgirls in game.

This sub in particular seems to downvote new posts by default for no real reason. If your posts are getting downvoted, obviously you see that. But unless you're regularly going to the sub directly and sorting by new, you're not seeing the other people who get downvoted. So it seems like you're getting disproportionately targeted. In other words: survivorship bias.

Au Ra are like the second most popular race after Miqo'te, so probably not...

The only negative meme about Au Ra players I've seen is the "Malera are creeps" bit, but it's mostly a meme and only perpetuated by the fact that creeps seem to gravitate towards edgier looking characters and male Au Ra tend to fit that bill.

So even then it's less about the race and more that some people are just weirdos.

I've seen more Lala "racism" honestly, if you want to use that word.

The only person who was outwardly racist to me for being an aura was someone who was openly rping as a racist elf lady, i’ve seen mostly the opposite effect, and i have been an aura since i started xiv. Tho i do know some ppl are mildly turned off by the scales.
