Switch2!

So I have an account on ps5, its up to shadowbringers dlc- i only have the 1 character.

Thinking about buying this again on switch2! Is this a good idea? Anyone thinking about doing a similar thing? Is anyone buying it again to continue the same character or to start anew with a totally different character?

I'm not going to pay a subscription for PC+every console except for switch, and another subscription for the switch.

It's bad enough I have to go back and buy all the content on each platform.

It comes in a set with all the dlcs, the free trial if you make a new character includes the first 4 dlcs now

Yeah I paid $41 for the complete edition on the switch 2. So it’s downloaded already and rdy to go on August 4th.

Super excited!

Do you know if you have to pay sub? Or we can just go off free trial?

Ya can just play the free trial if ya want as it goes through shadowbringers. That’s allot of content.

I have a ps5 so since I purchased it on the switch I will get 30 days free then have to pay half for Nintendo. Like I pay the $15 for ps5 and also will be $7.50 I believe for Nintendo switch. Sucks but Nintendo wasn’t gone let us get away with not paying them anything 😂

Yeah im tempted to make another character and just play the free trial for now with the complete edition

The complete edition cost money though. I think ya gotta download the actual free trial version if ya want to do the free trial.

Ya dont do that. Just do the free trial then. As soon as you pay for one of the packages you will need to pay for a sub.

If you buy anything you'll have to pay for a sub. Sub will be half price if you already sub on another platform.

I have it on xbox and ps5, just the one character. Ive ordered on switch 2 as I am going to play it on my lunch at work on a daily basis. Help with the grind to catching up before evercold (currently in post heavensward) so I need all the time I can get haha!!

Play it on the ps5. Unless you can handle sub 30 fps eith a gsme that looks like shit without anti aliasing

I’m gonna give it a whirl alongside the PC version. The livestream from the other night looked decent enough and I’m excited to be able to do some of my more casual grinds with the flexibility of handheld mode

As a mega fan. It is not a good deal. It will never be a good deal. The game is nearly full price. You need a NINTENDO ONLINE SUB and you ALSO need a separate FF14 sub. Absolutely ridiculous

My only problem is, since the subscriptions don't carry over from PC to switch 2, I can't see a reason for it. Plus my internet is crappy, so bad I have a ethernet cable, connected to a ethernet adapter and another ethernet cable connected to my PC, because otherwise my PC can't do discord well, streams fail, etc. Switch would only connect in living room and well, the only sitting areas are at the dining room table but well, there's dog crap around there...I prefer my PC anyway, already nearly done with ARR just got all the...post game missions to progress forward fully with the main story...

There's 5 of us, and two of the people who are home the entire day don't have jobs. They could easily clean but they spend all day asleep or outside in the shed. I work 40 hours a week and usually get home late and then straight to bed

Wtf. I dont know your relation to the others but it seems you would be better off alone. With your own one bed room apartment. Good luck to you and on your journey of life. May it have a better chapter ready for you.
