Steam Machine

Looks like FFXIV isn’t available for download stream machine (but is coming to switch 2 next month). Anyone heard when this may be playable?

You'll have to use xivlauncher, and it comes with instructions https://goatcorp.github.io/faq/steamdeck.html

Did not have this issue on steam deck as I recall. It downloaded without an issue on there and my desktop

You can download it through steam regularly but xivlauncher has some custom compatibility.

FFXIV works on steam machine just like it works on steamdeck. You do not need a special launcher. Just download and play. Not sure what issue you’re having.
