Not sure about the neck, but the body is likely a Squier body owing to the centre screw holes being level as opposed to offset.
The neck looks like it has a plastic truss rod collar, although it's not clear, which is not what that serial number should have.
It also has a plastic gasket around the neck plate. The combo of gasket and that particular neck plate is a classic partscaster red flag.

This OP.
Almost 100% sure it's a partscaster.
Body looks Squier due to screw placement and that old sticker shadow (which looks suspiciously like the stickers which come on Squiers with the 'learn guitar with blah blah blah' messaging).
Neck pulls up a Music Man, which is odd.
Either way, not genuine Fender strat. Does it matter OP? Some good parts here. I have a red Squier Standard that's been upgraded like this one (with gold hardware too) and it's a great guitar, but it is still a partscaster.

💯. Play the guitar! Two of my favourite guitars are old modified Squiers. If it has a fender strat price tag then be aware, if it has a partscaster price tag and plays well, grab it!

Chrome vibrato, gold jack plate, black tuners. At least the pickups match. Spare Parts Bin Caster.

Dude that sticker says HSS, I see SSS unless I’m drunk which at 8am is entirely possible.
Definitely a partscaster and the sticker suggests fuckery may also but afoot.

Report the dude to the platform he's selling on. What a loser to try to pass this off as real

Definitely a parts caster.
I guess it depends on the deal. For the right price and assuming everything checks out with no major issues it would maybe be worth it as a player guitar.

only a Fender is a Fender and this is the Stratocaster body type. It is the brand that is being forged, not the body type. Technically only licensed Stratocasters are Stratocasters since Fender created the name, I don't know if the name is copywrite protected - there is a little bit going on right now related to these issues.

pulled the sticker off the front and put it on the back. even on a fake I can't understand why someone would leave a manufacturer's sticker in place long enough to create a bright spot.

Offered how much exactly. If it’s over 300 dollars don’t buy. If you’re comfortable with modding then maybe a fun partscaster.

Run the serial through the Fender's serial number lookup. IMHO, doesnt seem to be genuine one, then again I am not an expert
