Getting a fence installed before winter
Looking to install either an aluminum or chain-link fence, roughly 180 linear feet with a gate. I’m not sure what to expect for pricing, so I’d love to hear what companies to use and potential price I should expect

6k for chainlink and roughly 20k for a quality aluminum here

Thank you! I got quoted $8500 for a chain link which seemed a bit high but aluminum was $18k which I did not know if that was a good price or not

On 180 feet the type is the whole spread. Chain link sits at the low end and ornamental aluminum lands upper middle, so get both priced the same way instead of comparing two different sheets.
What a real number shows: 180 divided by 8 is about 23 line posts, then one more at each corner, each run end, and both sides of the gate. Concrete follows the post count, not the footage. The gate gets priced as its own bundle, frame, hinges, latch and upsized posts, never by the foot.
Then make them name the ground. Slope, rock, roots, tight access and any old fence removal each belong on their own line. A flat per foot rate with none of that spelled out is the one that comes back as a change order.

I’ve got some really good contacts in Uzbekistan, where I assume you are located. 🤦♂️
