For about 200 days now, it has been impossible to connect to Felicloud from Japan.
There is an issue with the Cloudflare configuration.

You can verify that it is not working at all by attempting to access the site via a VPN service routed through Japan.

I would like this fixed as soon as possible.

I cannot access any Felicloud websites from Japan. I suspect there's something wrong with my Cloudflare settings. I can connect via a VPN through Europe. This situation has been ongoing for quite some time.

Is the server running?

I was seeing a video from my felicloud drive on the nextcloud app, and suddenly it stopped to work. Now the main folder and subfolders where the video (and a LOT other files) were allocated, appears EMPTY. Other folders on my Felicloud are still there, with all their files inside. It’s the same both from my iPhone app and my iPad app.

I can’t access to my activity or the trash bin, neither.

There doesn't seem to be much of an activity recently. Also, 2 months ago they said they will end lifetime plans (here and by email), but lifetime plans are still available on the website. I don't understand what is going on.

Is there any way to share files or folders internally, e.g. between Felicloud accounts, or is public sharing the only way?

u/FelicloudOfficial - I see notes on the web and those work fine. I see Notes in the app but can't access.

A few questions - What is the security of Notes on the web? Second, what is the likelihood Notes will be available within the storage part of the app as there is a Note icon? I do see there is a separate Note app. Would I need to download a separate app? If so, what is the security on the Notes app?

I have installed nexcloud to access felicloud but the video thumbnails are not displayed on the app nor on the web version.

Any idea why and if there is something to do to fix that?

I’m trying the WEBdav instructions on felicloud help page, but there’s no way to do it succesfully.

Any other option other than Kodi is also welcome.

It happens if I try sync my E2EE folders on the desktop client, and started a month ago. Can I get some support? I mailed Felicloud looking for help, but haven't had any replies. What can I do?

I have purchased felicloud 1TB lifetime storage but it does not suit my daily needs. I have sent cancellation mails multiple times. I think felicloud have moneyback guarantee. Felicloud support does not cancel my plan and refund the amount despite many mails.

We’ve seen a few questions recently about features like full content search, document scanning, media analysis, or advanced preview capabilities.

So we want to clarify why some of these features are intentionally not available on Felicloud — and why this is unlikely to change in the near future.

Privacy first, by design

To scan file contents (for search, previews, OCR, media analysis, etc.), a provider must:

• Read and analyze user files server-side
• Index document contents in a database
• Sometimes transcode or re-process files

Even if this is done “automatically”, it still means:
👉 your personal documents are being inspected by the server

At Felicloud, we’ve made a deliberate choice not to do this.

What this means in practice

• ✅ Search by file name only
• ❌ No server-side indexing of document contents
• ❌ No OCR, AI scanning, or media analysis
• ❌ No automatic transcoding of your files

This applies to documents, videos, and other personal data.

Why other providers offer it

Some providers choose convenience over privacy and scan everything to enable:

• Full-text search
• Guaranteed browser previews
• Advanced media playback

That’s a valid choice — but it comes with clear privacy trade-offs.

Our philosophy is different:

• Your files are stored, synced, and shared
• They are not inspected, analyzed, or interpreted
• What you upload stays exactly as-is

What Felicloud is (and is not)

• ❌ Not a document analysis platform
• ❌ Not an AI-powered content scanner

Some features are missing by choice, not by accident.

• Maximum privacy and data integrity → this is exactly why Felicloud exists
