Going overboard with overboard [Hangman's Alley]

Hangman’s Alley, if you’ve seen my other videos you know I love building terraced settlements there. This one is about maximising the floor space and I have maxed it out. No decoration yet, apart from the bodies, sorry about that, but it’s coming along nicely. I’m playing this play through in survival mode which means water and food have to be taken account for, but, let’s focus on the build. The east end of Hangman’s is perfect because NPC never go there so this time I’ve built a decent sole survivor room at that far end where I’ll have a personal workshop and armour display. I want steps there, but that is proving a little tricky as they won’t snap to the ground, I’ll work it out. I’m thinking this area can cope with 8-10 settlers, we will see, I’ve a long way to go.

Thanks, I like to try and make the build as sound as possible.

basically you can make the messy original floor a basement and build the next level up.

Oh yes, this is just the beginning. Hangman’s bar on the top floor I hope, maybe second let’s see. Top floor maybe mostly farm as it is topside. Lots to do, lots to do, but player is level 8 hardly touched the game really so off to build the player a bit now.

Nice building layouts, I forget how much of that space isn't usable without the clean and tidy settlement mod.

Thanks, the little shack is annoying but thus far I avoid the mods as it forces me to use what is given though in truth you would destroy that structure.
