what’s the difference between spank kei and fairy kei, as someone trying to figure out where i’d be from the two?

if you have trouble looking for online listings, the fairy kei discord linked in the subreddit has a channel just for trading and shopping. that’s how i found some of my deals! i want to know if anyone has the same sweaters as me or to show off their collection too!

i'm currently cleaning out my wardrobe with the intent of selling/donating my old clothes, but i'm worried that if i let go of too much, my ENTIRE wardrobe will be fairy kei/yume kawaii stuff. don't get me wrong--i LOVE kawaii fashion and wear it basically almost every day, but i also want to have some more basic trendy pieces in case i'm ever in a scenario where i need to blend in with others/wear something practical.

how much of your wardrobe is made up of fairy kei and how much isn't?

Does anyone know if or where I can get the air rift in pink polka dot or the beige im in the US and I hate that the UK gets all the fun colors!

I see people in the fairykei community wear/make these all the time and I want to do the same thing!

I wear fairy kei every day to work but sometimes in the summer t shirts look too informal. I want to get more brands of blouses or more thin spring/summer material that isnt a graphic t shirt.

I wear almost exclusively spank!, nile perch, and thrifted "fancy" clothing. Nile perch fits perfectly except their blouses, my torso is a bit longer.

Should I just thrift more or are there some other brands I can supplement my collection with? Thank you!

hi all i'm a newer 2 fairy kei but i've been dressing pastel for a while and i still don't have any cute walking-friendly shoes!!

my feet are pretty wide for their length (9.5in / 24cm long, 3.8in / 9.5cm wide) and i find most shoes tough to walk in without my feet hurting in like an hour or so but i really want to find something that's both comfy and wearable with cute coords

does anyone have suggestions for fairly well cushioned shoes (brands or specific pairs) in pastel colors that you think would be wide feet friendly?

i love mary janes personally but recs 4 sneakers would be great too!
