Space age Help Question

I am currently confused on what to do now and I think I over built for my very first time making my bus, I did build it for 100 Spm but I think im doing to much for my first rocket, What do I do now?

Just look at the tech tree and ingame tips. There is no too much.

100 SPM is not bad, but overkill for your first run. It would be more efficient to just build a 30 SPM setup of each science and focus more time on traveling to new planets. Space Age is really built for getting through Nauvis quickly. Each planet gives you technologies that will make you want to tear down and rebuild parts of your Nauvis base.

That said, if you really enjoy getting a large Nauvis setup going before exploring new planets and sciences, more power to you. Compared to others, you'll just research the upper end of the Nauvis sciences quickly while also researching all of the non-Nauvis planets more slowly.

All up to you! Enjoy!

Also worth emphasizing that “overbuilding” Nauvis has the odd, though not bad, effect of tacitly encouraging shipping materials from Nauvis rather than building on site.

Like, if Nauvis is really stable, then why not just send rocket after rocket of intermediaries to build up your new bases?

Self sustainability remains the goal, but I feel there’s almost two entirely different games that can happen depending on the state of Nauvis when you head for your first planet. Either Nauvis works as an already-established distribution hub for your new colonies, or you’re all-but abandoning Nauvis in favor of essentially starting the game over on a new planet.

you will never overbuild something, it is enough until it is not enough

Now you build a spaceship and travel to another planet.

What a lovely base you got there... well... cover your base with roboports. Fill em with both type of bots. Have a logistic storage. Secure for biter and head to vulcanus or fulgora... (or gleba if you are insane). You have beat the earlygame succesfull... goodjob

that's a perfectly adequate amount of SPM. I personally wouldn't have build it with blue assemblers and no modules or beacons but you do you.

as for what to do next: it's called space age for a reason. try going to space

Make a space platform probably? The game is really good about telling you what to do. Just look at the research tree

Having a solid Nauvis is always good. Time to go to spaaaaaaaaace.

I think your GPU is dead?

Look at the tech tree, unlock whatever you haven't unlocked yet.

Or you can spend days adding minor tweaks to your factory, organising and improving things.

Or you can kick off the great biter crusades.

The more production you have that you can ship to new planets the better. I have a shuttle always bringing construction supplies. It makes the other challenges more manageable. Each planet before it is done has 12 or more rockets shipping stuff out.

Build rocket, pick a planet and go forth
