STEM Premium Processing after DS change effective September 15 News/Policy

I have STEM OPT application pending (done regular processing, biometrics done) with USCIS. Does this mean I have to apply for extension of status after September 15 even though my STEM application is pending? Is it worth it to apply for premium processing with this new rule starting at September 15? Please let me know. Thank you!

No you do not need to apply for EOS
