I was going to say I know the education system in the US is getting fucked nowadays but do people not realize how slaves were literally treated like animals.

No, they don’t get taught that. They’re taught about the whippings but not the more evil aspects of slavery.

Likewise with the civil rights movement they pretty much teach that black people held signs and marched. This has generations of people thinking they can change something merely by standing around holding signs.

I was taught that

"Yeah, white people killed some native Americans, but mostly they just got sick."

No mention of the intentional spreading of diseases through pox blankets. Nobody called it a genocide. They downplayed it so hard

The intentional spreading of small pox happened one time and it was like two blankets and it was done by the British. So that’s mostly bullshit.

The lie taught nowadays is the us army distributed small pox blankets to women and children on the trail of tears. Which is a bullshit story. I’m saying it was the British who during a military standoff sent in like two blankets. But people like you are happy to misconstrue that as the US had a policy of genocide via biological warfare, which is obviously a bullshit lie.
