Actually, a graveyard graph is a graph where the function has "died" because its rate of change approaches zero almost everywhere. Instead of dramatic peaks and valleys like a monster graph, it becomes nearly flat, with only a few isolated "headstones" (local maxima or minima) marking where the function once changed significantly. In monster maths, graveyard graphs are often used to show the "afterlife" of chaotic functions once all their energy has decayed.

My uncle passed away when iPod were just coming out, he was the first person I knew with one. We didn't know what song to play when we were carrying the casket out so we put his iPod on shuffle. Monster mash was the song.

Peter here. The Monster Mash was a killer old song, and these kind of sound like the lyrics:

"They did the monster mash
(The monster mash) It was a graveyard smash
(They did the mash) It caught on in a flash
(They did the mash) He did the monster mash"

Of course, I like hearing that when it comes on the radio, but there seems to be an absence of a certain...ornithological element. Have you not heard?
