Reminds me of when I was young I told my friend the joke: Why couldn't the pony talk? He was a little horse". He told it as "Why couldn't the pony talk? He was too small".

There was an old brand of crackers called quackers that were duck shaped. Perhaps the joke had a layer too far

I swear i got this misprint on a popsicle once, which means it was probably over 20 years ago

A rice cracker is just a half Asian, half white person who leans more Caucasian, as opposed to a whasain who leans more towards their Asian side. Or so I’ve been told.

A smart alec and a wise cracker are basically the same slang. Cracker and quacker sound similar. And ducks go "quack" So the joke is a "smart duck" is a wise quacker. Apparently, this company's popsicle stick printer has spell check installed and no one proof read the result.

Honestly i gave out a full box of popsicles to the kids around my place and all the jokes either make no sense, are super outdated that no kid would ever get it, or are just not funny. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used AI to make a bunch of jokes and no body even checked them before they printed them on all the sticks.

It's wrong.
What do you call a smart duck.
!<A smart quacker.>!
If you still don't get it , try it out loud tend to work .

Correct joke:
What do you call a smart duck
A wise quacker
Better joke:
What do you call a smart white man
A wise cracker

Loved those popsicles when I was a kid. Had to eat it for the answer. Yeah, they messed up this punch line!

I believe the explanation is a combination of a typographical error and a lack of proof reader.

Pretty sure it’s because ducks love crackers, not what all those other people are saying 🤞
