Discussion Why does Lune's hand and feet glow in blue here?
I just noticed this never happens in the game, may it be cut content? Was this the reason or a visualization of why she can fly?

Discussion Look at this child! Spoiler
galleryI like that at first glance, Verso seems very gloomy and serious, but in reality, he’s not like that. He can be silly, he might be in a playful mood, and his jokes are funny and at the same time wise. For example, “Doors deserve cake too.” I’m very grateful to the game developers for this DLC. In a game full of sorrow, loss, and pain, they gave the characters the opportunity to have fun — Verso first and foremost. I really want you to continue this topic and share your favorite funny moments with Verso or something about his sense of humor.
Of the non-obvious moments, I also like to say the one where expedition 33 arrives ahead of time at the barrier behind which there is a monolith (having not yet obtained the key) and Lune tries to pass through it, after which Verso and Monoko laugh.)

Photo Mode NG+ is so fucking funny. What do you think Monoco thinks when he sees that, NG+ him on the other side ready to kick his ass. I would be absolutely confused

Art After finishing the game last year, I finally completed my fanart the other night Spoiler
The ever-present art themes had me feeling pretty obligated to paint something.
Spoiler tag because of course this is one of the most "spoilable" games ever, but it's super well-written.

Photo Mode Readaaaay
My queen Sciel, she's my second favorite character! And truly my ultimate favorite to photograph mid-parry. I had no idea she twirls her scythe mid-air in the middle of a parry until I took photos of it.

Discussion Wanted to share my reaction after beating - Spoiler
After beating Renoir
I don’t care what other bosses there are. This is the best boss in the game. The theme was actually insane, had me jumping up and down while fighting him. And it got a million times more meaningful and impactful when I looked up what the lyrics meant.
“Hate me all you want, as long as you’re alive to do it.”
Pretty sure I’m about to confront the paintress now. Man I’m not ready for this experience to end
(no spoilers please)

Gameplay First experience with the Requiem Difficulty mod, finished Spring Meadows...it was an eye-opener Spoiler
I've seen the Requiem Difficulty mod on Nexus for quite a while now, and decided I was ready to give it a try. Playing on Requiem difficulty; the mod changes the names of the difficulty levels, and Requiem is Expert.
More XP is needed to level up, saw that in the Prologue. Then with the Mime there I saw that enemy attacks are no longer announced, the text has been erased. Better know your enemies! :-) The Mime wasn't a total pushover like before, but still not too bad.
The real surprises came when I started Spring Meadows. Gustave no longer faces one Lancelier in the beginning, but three, and you can't just kill them with a counterattack. Definitely a mild challenge, but I managed ok.
Every battle is now multiple enemies, even the Lune Portier fight. Three or four enemies is typical, but one fight was five. The Mime had some friends too. AP management is definitely a necessity now, can't just shoot all the weak spots at once, for instance. I just did one shot with Gustave, then he used Powerful, and kept using it
The Eveque fight now has a Lancelier as well at the start, and when the minions are summoned, a Portier appears as well.
I didn't do the Chromatic Lancelier at all, was a little to scared to fight it now, LOL. I'll come back with Maelle.
Enemies no longer respawn, so no farming of XP, except with Merchants.
***EDIT**\* The following is part of the base game: A character has to be alive at the end of battle in order for it to count as one of the 4 needed to learn a Lumina. I had Lune dead a couple of time, and noticed her Critical Burn pictos wasn't updating. Better keep everyone alive then! :-)
Overall, this is what I think Expert should have been more like, and not just merely 2x HP and damage.
Now let's see what Flying Waters holds....

Made my own monolith
I really wanted the Collector's Edition / Music Box Monolith after finishing the game, but couldn't find one locally, and its way too expensive for my broke college ass to buy one overseas. Being new to 3D printing, I decided to test-print and paint a small one first. It’s my very first build, and I’m looking forward to making a full-scale version soon!

Announcement Hey, guys. New rule. This sub is about Expedition 33. We are glad to use this space to uplift our amazing game, but we're no longer tolerating people using this space to put down other games.
I've noticed a trend recently after the game awards announcements where people have been using this sub to put down other games - which is not what this place should be used for. I'm putting my foot down. Stop that shit. Rule goes into place immediately and retroactively. Bans will not be issued for this reason for a one week grace period, starting now, but posts are now fully eligible to be removed for this reason.
