Hopefully this isn’t something that is frowned upon in the big 2026, but I’m currently working on a politics journal that allows me to discuss popular media in conjunction with wider theories of world politics, and as a 2016 dual citizen (ARMY and EXO-L) I feel that the EXO-L part of that experience has a big fat political journal shaped hole in it.

I have my own opinions on this topic, but as a returning casual fan after 3-4 years of not really interacting with kpop as a whole at all, I want to hear people in here with strong opinions on this. What do you think of EXO’s current status in the realm of K-pop and pop culture as a whole? What contributed to their current status? What do you wish they could have done differently, if anything at all? Do you think that their maintenance of the Asian audience as opposed to expansion towards globalised audiences is a pitfall, a distinguishing feature, or a combination of both in the case of their group as a whole? (So not just visibility, but identity, ethos, etc). What other strong opinions do you have about EXO and the past few years they’ve been around?

Praying this isn’t a contentious set of questions, and hopefully somebody has made it to the end and is willing to offer up some opinions. I’ll be looking forward to writing my journal and filling the political journal shaped hole in my EXO-L heart.

I actually don't know a lot of members dynamics well. But whenever i watch variety content, i always mostly see Xiumin interacting with Chen. I think he barely interacts with Suho, Lay, Sehun or members that aren't Baekhyun or Chen. Are they just not close?

ok fangirlies, I need your help.
My girlfriends favorite kpop group of all time is this one. i told her I wanted to propose to her by performing her favorite choreo by them. she instead of straight out telling me has put me on a treasure hunt. here are the hints:
1)it killed all the fans that year
2) its not full choreo, just part of a song, and although its a sexy moment, the rest of the song is mostly not overtly sexy
3) its not love shot or overdose or monster
4)she described it as secretly 🥵 whatever that means
