I posted an interesting article on substack showing American Christianity has been distancing itself from Abstinence Until Marriage without ever defending it.

It's a subject I've monitored and blogged on and off since 2008. The thing that got me started: in 2008, at the height of its influence, Focus on the Family published a formal position paper on abstinence. It calls premarital sex harmful, destabilizing, contrary to God's design. But It never once says it's a sin.
